## What is TrueSpeed?

TrueSpeed measures your real internet performance — download, upload, ping, jitter, and packet loss — in about 20 seconds, with no sign-in and no GPS access.

WATCH IT LIVE
See your test in progress from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island with Live Activity — no need to keep the app open.

EVERY METRIC THAT MATTERS
• Download & upload speed (Mbps)
• Ping (latency) and jitter
• Packet loss
• Your ISP name, IP address, and approximate location — from IP data, never your device's GPS

TRACK IT OVER TIME
The Insights tab logs every test locally on your device with a trend chart, so you can see whether your connection is actually getting worse — useful the next time you call your ISP.

DIAGNOSE, DON'T JUST MEASURE
The Tools tab adds a custom ping utility and a DNS benchmark, so you can tell whether a slowdown is your network or your DNS.

BUILT-IN ACCURACY CHECKS
TrueSpeed flags when a VPN may be skewing your results, so a low number doesn't send you chasing the wrong problem.
