## What is TrueTen?

TrueTen builds your golf practice plan from your swing. Film one swing face-on for an honest rating out of 10 with its margin of error, the one fix worth the most, and a weekly plan for your time and range. The analysis runs on your iPhone, so your video is never uploaded.

A COACH IN YOUR POCKET
• Every analysis opens with your coach's read: what's good, where the points go and the one fix.
• Fix cards show what was measured, where it happens and what it does to your ball.
• Ask your coach: type what's wrong in your own words and get an answer checked against your swing.
• Import a launch-monitor session and see your misses, measured.

IMPROVE WHAT YOU CHOOSE
• Pick a program: contact, swing path, tempo, distance, balance, setup, chipping or putting. Four stages of drills, each with a scored test.
• A playbook for every club: setup, swing keys, the numbers that matter, the usual misses and a test.
• Everything mode explains every fix and measurement.

A PLAN THAT WORKS LIKE A LESSON
• Tell TrueTen what your ball does: fat, thin, slice, hook and more. Each miss is linked to what it measured in your swing, contact first.
• Built from your swing, rounds, goal, time and venues.
• One swing change at a time, with drills at four levels, from slow motion to the course.
• Ball tests and re-film checkpoints: you move up a level only when the change is real.
• A shot guide: what each shot means and what it costs.

AN HONEST RATING
• Strict on purpose: only tour-level swings score 10.
• Every rating and measurement shows its margin of error.
• What the phone can't measure precisely isn't scored.
• See where the points went, phase by phase.

FILMING MADE EASY
• Hands-free: tap record, walk to the ball and swing.
• Pro analysis: face-on, then down the line, for one full-swing rating.
• Import a video from Photos.
• Practice mode: every swing measured hands-free, with a replay and a spoken cue.

SEE YOUR PROGRESS
• Ratings over time with their margins, checkpoints and streaks.
• Compare two swings, or replay one in slow motion and draw on it.
• Share a swing sequence, a monthly report or a coach report PDF.
• Log rounds to see where your strokes go.

ALSO INCLUDED
• The Academy: lessons on the full swing, ball striking, short game, putting and practice.
• A 3-D model swing, a widget and practice reminders.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
• Your swings, plan and log stay on your iPhone; optional iCloud sync uses your own private iCloud.
• Export everything or delete everything from Settings.

FREE AND PRO
Free: 3 analyses of your own videos a week, the rating with its margin, your top fix and its level 1 drill, a preview of your weekly plan (this week's focus and first session), one Practice mode session and the Academy basics, plus tempo, drawing tools, round logging and iCloud backup.
TrueTen Pro: unlimited analyses, Pro analysis, drill levels 1 to 4, the re-film checkpoint verdict, the full weekly plan, Practice mode, the full breakdown and every fix, comparisons, the monthly and coach reports, the full Academy and the 3-D model swing.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-29

• More reliable first launch while TrueTen looks for your data in iCloud.
• The sample swing now opens with a clear note that it's a sample, with your own swing one tap away.
• More dependable iCloud backup: changes made while iCloud was off are backed up once it's back, and Settings tells you if iCloud can't save something (for example, when your storage is full).
• Smaller fixes for the camera and Pro status.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-28

• Improve: until you've filmed your own swing, a program's "Your numbers" now waits for it instead of showing the sample swing's measurements.
• If a video can't be analysed, the reason now shows at the top of the Swings screen, where you'll see it.
• New in the last update: the Improve tab. Choose what to get better at (contact, swing path, tempo, distance, balance, setup, chipping or putting) for a four-stage program that becomes your plan's focus, and open a playbook for every club, from driver to putter.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-28

• Improve: a new tab where you choose what to get better at: contact, swing path, tempo, distance, balance, setup, chipping or putting. Each program has four stages with drills, a scored ball test and a clear point to move on, and it can become your plan's focus.
• A playbook for every club: driver, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, wedges, chipping, bunkers and putting. Setup, swing keys, the numbers that matter (yours too, from a launch monitor), the usual misses, drills and a test.
• Everything: a full breakdown of your latest swing, and a detail setting (Essentials, Coach or Everything) for how much each analysis explains.
• Your coach's read: every analysis now opens with a short summary of what's good, where the points go, the one fix and what it does to your ball.
• Fix cards show what was measured in plain words, the key picture where it happens (with where you started), what it does to your ball, why it matters and what good looks like.
• Ask your coach: type what's going wrong in your own words ("I keep chunking my 7 iron") and get a coach's answer, checked against your latest swing, with drills and lessons.
• Practice that carries over to the course: random practice and a scored range round as each change takes hold, and a Practice mode voice that speaks up when a swing is off.
• Key pictures show exactly the right moment, even when the phone's frame rate varies.
• Not the right moment? Tap a key picture to pick the frame yourself, and your swing is measured again from it.
• Your progress on this week's fix, analysis by analysis, right on the Practice tab.
• Launch monitor: import a Garmin R10, Rapsodo, Mevo+, SkyTrak or Trackman session (CSV) and TrueTen turns it into your misses, measured, plus a yardage book.
• Ask your coach understands whole sentences ("I don't slice any more, now I hook"), and on iPhones with Apple Intelligence it understands even more, on the device.
• Each fix says how far past the line you are, and how big the job is.
• Left-handed golfers see every direction their way, in the plan and the Academy.
• Ball-test targets suit your handicap, and random practice and range rounds have a score to beat.
• Ball first: tell TrueTen what your ball does (fat, thin, topped, heel or toe, no compression, slice, hook, push, pull or short). Your plan links each miss to what it measured in your swing and fixes contact first, like a lesson.
• Each week explains the miss: the ball, the club, your swing and the fix, plus the checks video can't see, such as ball position and grip.
• Scored ball tests show your progress where it counts: at the ball. New tests for start line, balance, driving, wedges, chipping, bunkers and putting.
• New shot guide: what each shot means, what it costs and how to tell which one you hit.
• Your practice plan draws on more checks, each judged from the angle that shows it: spine tilt at impact and backswing length face-on; posture, hip position and hand plane at the top down the line.
• Pro analysis: film face-on, then down the line, for one full-swing rating from both angles.
• Still not judged, and the app says why: lead-arm straightness at the top, and shoulder and hip turn.
• New in the Academy: Ball Striking & Consistency, on ball-first contact, centre-face strikes, a smaller miss and the swing fixes that pay most.
• Free and Pro, side by side on the plans screen.
• Founding price: subscribe to Pro Annual by 30 Nov 2026 and keep that price for as long as you stay subscribed.
• Drill levels 2 to 4 and checkpoint verdicts are now part of Pro. If you downloaded TrueTen before this update, everything you already had stays free.
• Have a code? Redeem it right on the plans screen.
• Pro subscribers can request a refund from Settings.
• A safety note on every drill, and an Open Settings button when camera access is off.
• Swing cards link to the App Store.
