This leaves a bad taste in my mouth about this company. I signed up for 7 visits. Had 2 so far. Five more to go. If I don’t see improvement in my yard (weed control) I’m definitely canceling. The app was fine until this year. I always received notifications about upcoming services and it was easy to pay your bill through. It stopped sending notifications, wouldn’t show your history, and doesn’t keep your payment information. I’ve deleted and readded the app several times with limited functionality and always have to login through a web browser to see history and pay my bill. The website is also twitchy and hard to navigate. I feel like if you can’t get this fixed, I will have to move my business to someone else! Fix this mess! I can’t log in because when I signed up last month I never received any credentials to use app. If you click log in help it s supposed to send you an email link to reset your phone. Problem is the email link comes hours later and the link they sent is timed out. I truly don’t believe they want the app to work. It’s almost like they don’t want you to have access to your account the just show up whenever and charge you. This company leaves a bad taste in my mouth and should be avoided at all costs. When my 7 treatments are up I’m done. Calling customer service does nothing as they never sent me login credentials either. ### 1/5 — Awful design *2026-04-16, version 3.0.58* Whoever designed this going for a simple and clean aesthetic effed what should be a very easy app experience. Not a single notification for over a year. No idea when someone is coming out unless you get an automated phone call. Paying your bill has been buried into a multi tap process for no discernible reasons and you don’t even know if you have a bill by looking at the main screen. Make sure you tap around and guess where to make payments - HINT: it’s not in the Payments menu. For reasons? App tells you how many more services are left in a year but not when they’re going to happen - even a rough guess would be helpful. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great Service, fair app… *2025-04-26* This app works great except the last two visits I had no idea they were coming. After experimenting around a little bit in this app today, I noticed that the notification switches won’t stay on. Several times in a row I would re-launch the app and go to notification preferences, and my switches were turned back off. I also don’t see any place to save the settings so I assume the switches are supposed to just stay on. Otherwise I’m not going to be able to unlock my gates if I don’t get texts or emails to know they’re coming. The only texts and emails I’m getting is overly repeated feedback/review messages after the service in which I got four between yesterday afternoon and this morning demanding feedback. They used to be known for great if not the best lawn service provider. Besides being the highest priced service provider I’ve used at my current address, there service technicians were the worst. 1. I’m not sure if the technicians are employed or subcontractors. We didn’t have the same person for most of the services. They wanted to drive equipment on lawn when wet which creates ruts, instead of dragging hoses around yard. When service was due or expected a driver would pull up front or drive by without stopping. Had to point out organic gardens to every one that eventually showed up. Last straw was when nearly all of potted herbs on patio were sprayed with herbicide, they offered to pay money for replacement. This was early fall and all plants had not been bought, but had been started with seeds by my wife. Some that year but many were numerous years old. She had invested so much time in growing these plants. Secondly after canceling service, they tried to get me to restart services at either a discounted rate or a “free” appointment. This company used to have great technicians and great customer service. If your app is "stuck" and not loading. Delete the app and then reinstall and sign back in. -Poof- FIXED. But the app does not make it easy to message the Tech scheduled to service my lawn. Sometimes I need to let them know something, or to request an added service. But on IOS, the chat feature immediately covers the text entry line with the keyboard display, marking it impossible to see what I am typing. Trust me, I need to be able to see what I am typing. You guys are experts at lawn care, surely you can fix this… ### 5/5 — Push Notifications no longer work!?! *2022-03-16, version 3.0.24* TruGreen app push notifications no longer work! Settings are correctly on for push notifications, but the app no longer sends them through the app. You used to be able to track your technician on the day of your service but these features are no longer working in the app. Please fix! ### 5/5 — Really *2020-09-04, version 3.0.8* I was excited to have the plan as my lawn would be weed free, green and grub free. After that treatment, my lawn was filled with patches of burnt grass. They sent out “specialist” to assess. He stood there with hands on hips and his words were “it looks like they used to much chemical on the lawn for grub control”. When asked what would be done about it, he was going to tell supervisor and have them get to me. Actually, the one star is highly overrated! For poor ratings the nicknames are taken. I’ll try giving stars that are not true. ### 5/5 — Not so user friendly app *2020-05-29, version 3.0.5* Lawn is beginning to show signs of healthy growth and greener than ever. Scheduling and navigating the application is not user friendly. I find the app is designed for the actual technician and not the client. They definitely need to review and reevaluate the app based on customer suggestions.
