They will randomly disconnect, have difficulty with audio playback or even drop calls. There are times I can hear a caller but the microphone does not connect. It’s already difficult to be hearing challenged, then to add the periodic, and often unpredictable hearing aid performance just takes things up a notch. I’ve been back to the audiologist a few times for new components and will make yet another appointment in the next month for this issue again. ### 3/5 — App usage *2026-07-13, version 2.7.51* App drops the Wi-Fi feed, making the controlling of ear devices hard to use. Week 4 they began to disconnect at 20ft. Week 5 they disconnect if my iPhone was in my back pocket. It’s so frustrating that I am beginning to wish I had bought another brand of aids… I’ve been back to the business that I purchased them from two times and the fixes are only temporary. I can’t hear what people are saying if in a meeting. I used to be able to put my phone close to the speaker and hear him plus everyone else in the room. Now I’m having problem using my hearing aid for phone calls as well. ### 1/5 — Awful App *2026-05-24, version 2.7.40* I have used this brand for two years. I can make temporary changes only. I am unable to create personal custom settings. I have to call someone to have them do that. It is impossible to duplicate different scenarios over the phone with a tech. My wife made the comment this week that it is like before I even had hearing aides. I will never buy this brand again! I am trying to find a replacement. Unfortunately it will have to be out of pocket since my insurance only covers this brand. My first and only other set was the Kirkland brand. They worked great! It is sad that this company does not trust their customers enough to allow some individual customization! Several of my friends use a variety of brands. Every one of them can customize their device. Do not buy this brand! You will be disappointed!! ### 2/5 — Slow to open *2026-05-07, version 2.7.40* This app is very slow to open and load hearing aids bluetooth. Previous versions of the app were just ok. But this version is really slow and offers no more features than the old one. Come on True Hearing! After update, the app would only connect to one hearing aid even though both were connected to phone. Now the connection with my iPhone when making calls continually connects and disconnects multiple times during one phone call. Why don’t these companies that release app updates do proper testing before releasing BEFORE releasing.
