Our portable fridge/freezers are perfect for camping, traveling, picnics, and more. Their reliable and durable compressors can cool them down to -8 °F / -22 °C, even in hot environments. With the Truma Cooler Control app, you can easily check and change the settings of your Truma Cooler from your smartphone. This version of the app has been reworked and given a new, modern look. The Bluetooth connection is now more stable and reliable, and the redesign makes the app more intuitive and user-friendly.

Whether you want to know the current temperature, the vehicle battery discharge protection level, or the Turbo Mode status – With the Truma Cooler Control app, you'll see all insights related to your Truma Cooler at a glance.

Make It Yours
Good news: The app can connect to and control multiple Truma Coolers. You can personalize each one by naming it and selecting the temperature unit you wish to use. Want to remove one of them from the app? Simply swipe to delete it from the list!

The don’t kill my battery setting is beyond irritating, won’t let you see what your actual temp is and should let you kill your battery if you want to. Let me decide how I want to use my so called smart cooler please, what a waste of money-

I do not understand why app developers feel the need to fix things that weren't broken.  The previous app was way better and worked flawlessly.  Example; the previous version showed the 2 zones with a picture. You always knew which zone was which because they are different shapes and volumes. Now the app just gives you zone 1 and zone 2 with no way of knowing which is which.   You can't just go by left or right because this thing has the controls on the end and the lid is reverseable.  Also, previously you could see and control both zones from the same screen. Now you have to toggle between at least 2 screens just to control and monitor the temperatures. 

Can I please have the old version back?

Just purchased the C30 and downloaded app.  The qr code they included with packaging is a great idea.  The app is fully functional and allows me to name my cooler and control it fully.  

Glad I purchased this cooler and highly recommend it.

The recent update has made the Bluetooth connectivity, once reliable, useless.  It does not connect, can not tell me the cooler performance parameters (temperature and setpoint) and likely won’t notify me of any alerts or malfunctions.  Who knows - it doesn’t connect!  I bought Truma over your competitor for the technology you brought to market.  This update was a giant technological step backwards.  I should be using an ice chest.

Thank you for your message. If your cooler detects an error, this error will be displayed automatically on the control view within the app, from there you can navigate to possible solutions.
In addition we improved the bluetooth stability in the last update.

Before the recent update it was a dependable fast app to quickly check setting on my dual zone fridge/freezer. Now…it’s useless. Either does not connect, or takes *ages* to connect, and disconnects instantly. Also does not allow me to change name of cooler, and doesn’t show the current battery voltage. A terrible downgrade.

Edit: Stopped connecting to Bluetooth after updating to IOS14. Will update rating with update to app.

Not bad, it connects easily and seems to work pretty well. It is extremely basic. Wish it had a simple notifications system to let you know if the temperature rises above or lowers below set thresholds.
