Customer support is nonexistent. Bad enough they only pay $.50 on the dollar but now they don’t wanna pay at all. I must echo the review from Jul 13. There’s no retailers that accept these rewards. I’ve requested a PayPal cashout for 50% of my overall total (just under $50 so only ~$25 cashout value with the point reduction) and the multiple requests I have submitted have never been fulfilled. I also exceeded the max 8 payment methods due to prepaid gift cards and credit cards that expired or were reissued new numbers. You can’t use any of those receipts until customer service removes a previously used payment method from the 8 allowed. ### 1/5 — Not worth your time *2025-08-25, version 3.0.6* Poor customer service. Weird restrictions on payment methods and unable to remove old payment methods. Often unable to search and find gas stations. Unfortunately, there are no gas stations on the trunow app anywhere near me so I have to take my rewards in cash. This means I only get 50%. I have now sent nine emails to this company and still do not have my pay out. I have requested it over and over again. I have come to the conclusion that they never intend to pay me. Like I want this dubious company tracking my every move I think not. Only to find out that you can’t use the cash out at a “participating provider” because there isn’t any in the 3 states around my home. Available cash out to PayPal is for only 1/2 of your earnings. Requested 1/2 cash out my earnings over a week ago and still waiting. I doubt I’ll get back a dime. ### 1/5 — Lack of excellence! Lousy customer support. Shady with payouts. *2025-02-09, version 3.0.5* You only get half of the cash that you accrue unless you use it towards one of their partner deals. There are no partner deals in our area. Thereby we can only submit for the cash which means we only get 50%. No one ever responds to any tech-support questions. They’re impossible to get in touch with. I’m questioning whether or not we would even get our cash. Lastly… They give options to update the prices of gas and no matter what I do it gives an error. All in all, it seems as though this app is a complete waste of time run by some person, people or company that just don’t give two bleeps about it. Please… Please prove me wrong here. Takes forever to earn a cash out and then they don’t reward you. Never has been. I have submitted three receipts that were not able to be uploaded because of this. Also curious as to know how Else I can redeem the monies besides taking a 50% cut to use PayPal. There’s no other option. I’ve been uploading for quite some time and would really prefer to utilize all of the funds that I have accrued. Everything the other reviewers have said, I echo. Especially the credit cards. If you cash out, they only give you credit for half of your points. If you use more than the allowed number of credit cards, you have to go through their process of deleting your old credit cards to add a new one. When all of this became too much of a hassle, I cashed out so that I could end my account. Never received my cash out. Sent message to customer service. Getting a little something back for doing something you already do. We all need gas. I wish they had more options for spending the money you earned but they do have a PayPal option which makes up for not having the ability to use your earnings in your area. And you can have up to 8 cards on your account which is great because you don’t have to just use one card and you can use whatever credit card gives you the most points at the time. This app takes about 10 seconds per fillip to scan an rate a store. Easy and make some free PayPal money periodically ### 5/5 — Free change on gas *2019-04-30* There are a lot of complaints on these reviews about things no one is paying for here. You scan in your receipt, quickly ID the gas station, and then you get at least 1% cash back. If you got for PayPal that will cut those in half, but even 0.5% on every gas purchase builds up, especially if you travel a lot for work like me. It takes two seconds to earn some change.
