However, using the app, I completed it in 15 minutes. I’m very pleased. I wasted 33 minutes trying over and over. Maybe I need the passport with the picture of The Grifter? ### 1/5 — Bad App *2026-06-12, version 1.16.0* The website and app need a full redesign. They added passkey, which I set up and the app doesn’t understand once selected. My renewal kept telling me that something was missing and brought me to a screen with nothing missing. When they transferred information from the old site to the new site, some of the information got messed up. I spent literally hours trying to find out why I could not complete the task even though everything said that the requirement successfully. In the end, it was because my first and middle name were put on the same block when the data was transferred. But, of course, there is no way to know that without spending hours and hours trying to find out what the glitch was. And forget trying to find a phone number or any FAQ that actually addressed the question. ### 1/5 — Bad App *2026-03-12, version 1.10.0* It took over 2 hours to complete with many (stops and do-overs). A little more explanation on each step would be helpful. The Homeland Security App was better! ### 1/5 — Need to keep logging back again *2026-01-27, version 1.8.0* The app provides no advantage over visiting the website. It doesn't store password or login id. It also doesn't allow for Face ID. At least my chrome browser stores my id and password ### 2/5 — One Serious Flaw *2026-08-05, version 1.19.0* This app has one fatal flaw which makes it unusable by people without a driver’s license. Instead, you have to use the web based app. CBP knows about this flaw but doesn’t fix it and doesn’t warn users that if they don’t have a d/l they will be stuck in a confusing and endless loop. It’s the only way to receive alerts when appointments free up at enrollment centers. Go in the app to Settings and Notifications and favorite your preferred locations. It makes it SUPER easy, compared to how it was!
