Circular, redundant, incomprehensible. ### 1/5 — Arrgh! Who messed this up? *2026-09-19* What a ridiculous update to the former Global Entry app (which can no longer be accessed). I can’t log in to this app as I’m on vacation overseas and don’t have access to my US phone number. I can’t receive a verification text and this really messed up app’s other verification process is Face or Touch ID. Great, except IT DOES NOT WORK! Hope I will have time to log in when I land back in US before I get to CBP. ### 1/5 — Missing class of admission *2026-09-17* The old Global Entry app allowed users to see a list of their eligible classes of admission, and choose one from the app. Where did that feature go? ### 1/5 — Needless App Consolidation *2026-09-16* Original Global Entry app was great — clean, simple, and efficient. The TTP was janky and clearly was developed by a separate team. This app literally just combines those two; exact same UI/UX of each just mashed together. Why the devs didn’t roll functionality of TTP into the better designed Global Entry app makes no sense. Nothing was gained by what was done. If anything MPC should have been combined with Global Entry given the UI is identical. Wild that half the app is Liquid Glass and the other looks like a default, decade-old Android app. The TTP functionality also requires a login via Login.gov every time you use it; there’s 0 benefit to this being an app at baseline if that’s a requirement. Adding TTP functions to Global Entry would have been great, instead they’ve complicated and ruined the (time sensitive) Global Entry process to shoehorn in a stale app ### 1/5 — Ugh *2026-09-16* You can’t access it without downloading it every time on iPhone ### 5/5 — Global Entry *2026-09-20* Great program. Saves time. ### 5/5 — RFID scan to add passport! *2026-09-19* After naturalization I needed to update my global entry with my new US passport. A month ago this was an eight week wait period for CBP to do it by email. I thought today, why not check out this new app. Turns out it allows you to RFID scan your passport and add it instantly to your global entry. That’s amazing! ### 5/5 — Easy-breezy *2026-09-17* That was really easy to deal with it. Nicely done. ### 5/5 — New Online Trusted Traveler App 10+ *2026-09-17* The new online Trusted Traveler App is outstanding. I downloaded it the first day it became available .
