I sent them all the evidence to prove my purchase and yet they wouldn’t reverse their decision. They basically called me a liar. In a world of online shopping I think it’s important to provide companies and potential customers fair and honest reviews but Trustpilot’s checking techniques clearly fall short of getting this right. When I questioned their decision they came back with some rubbish about protecting the integrity of reviews on the platform and told me to go away. As I opened the App this evening it failed and instead notified me that there was an update and offered no choice but to proceed with the update. It failed to update, so I deleted the App and went to App Store to reinstall. You’ve guessed it, my iPad 11 pro max with its latest O.S. Is not modern enough to download it. So, I downloaded the ‘older version’ on offer and all that does is tells me to update. So no access any more and going round in circles. I might not be able to send this review and I will certainly not be able to read any response. Goodbye. ### 1/5 — A Verified User Left Feeling Let Down Twice ! *2026-07-12, version 1.69.0* As a verified user, I’m genuinely disappointed with how my reviews have been handled. I submitted honest reviews based solely on my own experiences. Some were removed without what I felt was a clear or satisfactory explanation, and it’s very hard to reach a real person or get meaningful support. When someone has had a genuinely negative experience with a company, writing a review is often the way to share that experience, help other consumers, and feel heard. If that review is then removed without a clear reason or a fair chance to amend it, it feels like being let down all over again. That was my experience. I was disappointed by the company I reviewed, and then equally disappointed by the platform that’s meant to give consumers a voice. The stress and frustration of having my genuine review removed ended up being worse than my original experience with the company itself. I fully support removing fake or abusive reviews. But genuine users need clear reasons and a fair chance to edit or clarify before removal. Removing genuine reviews without greater transparency can leave customers questioning whether the moderation process is applied consistently. And it can create a perception that larger companies may be treated differently, even though customers have no way of knowing whether that is the case.
