I’ve tried to log in and it kicked me out of the app. ### 4/5 — Marijuana is of the cannibas family as is hemp *2016-01-28* For those who question "Drug Free World" because of it saying Marijuana is made from Indian Hemp.... Do some research. The cannibas family of plants, of which Marijuana is a member, includes both the marijuana and "hemp" varieties. Both have THC, which is the toxin that produce the drug effects. The Marijuana variety lacks sufficient amounts of the opposing chemical CBD which neutralizes the THC toxin, rendering it ineffective. Be smart---avoid all chemical substances as far as possible. That is to say, medicinal chemicals may be necessary for reestablishing health in some people. THC is not a food. Nor is crack, meth, LSD, ecstasy, etc. etc. For the most part, a good quality diet which includes much pure water, a wide variety of vegetables, grains, legumes, fruit, nuts & seeds, and limited amounts of white meat, fish & eggs, will usually maintain health in the human body. Make the bulk of the meal deep colored vegetables (raw & cooked). Protein is necessary and may be easily obtained from vegetable sources (especially legumes (beans & peas). If meat is used, eat in small quantities. Nuts, seeds, and oils should be eaten sparingly, as should eggs. If used, milk should be organic, to avoid a lot of antibiotics, hormones, pesticides. Be kind to your body and brain---they will serve you better. ### 1/5 — Very inaccurate and misleading *2014-06-13* I found the videos to be totally inaccurate and just propaganda to scare people. I would recommend going to the library and checking out some books on the drugs you want to learn about. Don't bother! ### 1/5 — Scientology is evil *2013-10-20, version 1.2* This app is supposed to be educational but how can you educate when you lie ### 4/5 — nice, but some glitches *2013-09-07* The app is nicely done, for the most part, however there are a couple of technical issues that I have experienced with my iPad 2: 1: Missing content: Booklets 1a: When online no access to booklets 1b: Offline - After having downloaded it [at least it is marked as downloaded], only a white screen comes up. 2: The courses stop working at number eleven Courses 12 - 16 will not load… The booklets links, found within the courses, will not load the content either. ### 1/5 — Fear drugs, they are bad *2013-07-20* If you want to watch videos of kids who tried all kinda of drugs between age 13-15 with no education on what they were doing and have them tell you it's bad with no facts about the drugs start downloading now. If you don't care for propaganda move on. These videos teach nothing about drugs. ### 5/5 — Very informative and useful *2013-02-19* The videos in this thing are fascinating - a lot of testimony from past drug users and how much their lives were messed up by various drugs. The fact that they also take the time to explain how some of these drugs work, and what they do to a person, and follow it with personal stories about what went down in these people lives - is a powerful thing. Not to mention the fact that they've also provided a complete curriculum in this app so it can be integrated into various educational settings. I think the message of: Here is the info, listen to what these past users have to say and make up your own mind - is an excellent thing to be telling young people. After all, they are going to be making up their own mind anyway - mind as well tell them something useful to base the decision on. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Needs an update! *2022-02-27* Doesn’t work! It needs recent update!!!!!! The videos don’t work. The booklets make it crash! ### 1/5 — Crashes on iOS 14 *2020-10-14* The app crashes and closes on iOS 14. Older iOS 13 devices work. (We are a school.) ### 1/5 — Barely works *2020-01-15* When taking the classes, it won’t let me read or watch videos, meaning I can’t complete my class and my teacher probably thinks I’m a hoodlem. On top of that, it’s scare tactics. All the videos I have seen are just college kids telling you the same thing you’ve heard about all these drugs already. I want something with facts on the chemical build, what exactly it’s doing to your mentality and body, and the different forms and dosages. This is basically saying “Don’t do this because these people ruined their lives”. Especially the marijuana. Obviously weeds not perfect, but they make it seem like you build a tolerance then feel the need to get high on something else. Remove it from the AppStore. ### 1/5 — Scientology Front Group! *2016-05-09, version 1.2* This app is nothing but a gateway drug into Scientology. Co$ and their alleged non-religious groups all use the same techniques from L.Ron Hubbard. This app should not be used by anyone! Avoid! Just a simple search will show what this is really all about. Beware of NarCONon and any other group with a relationship of anything to Hubbard and Scientology! ### 1/5 — Fear mongering and scare tactics *2016-02-19* This app is so incredibly uninformative, and so devoid of real facts, but yet it purports to be the "truth" about drugs. The videos have zero facts, just rambling from college kids who I am assuming from their disinterest in their own words were not really hard drug addicts, about nothing. The booklets are even worse, with graphic design of something made in PowerPoint (you can see text boxes) with the ludicrous claim that every single drug has the same effect, just different dosages. I am heavily against drug use, but this sort of lying for cheap scares is half the reason kids start drugs in the first place. It's shameful this organization is allowed to exist, much less their lies allowed to be used to educate children. ### 1/5 — Glitches *2015-07-31, version 1.2* Can't create teacher account get to language and country and they are blank. Their information is all so uneducated it makes it quite entertaining. Even in the beginning they spelled "Kush" wrong! 😂 They also said that marijuana is the dry part of the India hemp plant. And any intelligent person knows that hemp and marijuana are two different cannabis plants. So for entertainment: 5 stars. For education purposes: 0 starts. I recommend webMD or Mayo Clinic for any questions about marijuana. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — One of the most important apps to exist *2023-07-27* There aren’t many other apps that give world changing and life saving information. The information learned in this app from the various booklets and videos is priceless. The drug epidemic is the basis for so many worldwide issues, not to mention the deaths. We have around 300 deaths from overdoses per day in the USA alone. The only way to get these numbers down is to educate our youth on the truth. The booklets give real information one can use against peer pressure and hard times so as not to turn to drugs. Plus of course the huge push for people to use marijuana is only making things 100x worse. One can get real information about weed in the booklet. If one is having trouble with the app being buggy, just go to the website. Those who criticize this app are either drug users who need to justify their addiction or drug pushers to have every reason not to want others to be educated about the drugs they sell.
