Alistair Begg’s approach to preaching the Word is really good, and the variety of topics and Scripture dealt with is so helpful. However, I’m having a problem with the app itself. After a few minutes listening to the sermons it stops and I have to keep pressing play again and again. I’m using the app on an iPhone 12 mini, which has the up to date OS. As a Christian returned to my faith after 27 years in the wilderness I am so grateful that God had me hear Alistair Begg Preach on the radio which directed me to this App. I feel the Lord speaking to me through these messages and devotional daily. I have shared with so many family and friends who have also found these messages helpful. The app is very well laid out and easy to use. Also, there is sermons section that collaborates with every book of the Bible right there so when you are done reading you can hear a message about it too! Gorgeous App. *2020-11-13, version 6.6.0* Alistair Begg’s teaching is top notch, and they make pretty much everything they have available in this app. The beautiful app redesign prompted me to come write this review. It’s always been a great app, but they somehow keep finding ways to make it even more functional and eye-catching. The layout of the sermons in their year by year catalogue is so easy to navigate. Everything is just so good. New sermons will play just fine. I really love his messages, the crashing is my only complaint. Sadly, I had only been using it for a couple of weeks before it stopped working. I use it for the sermons, which no longer show up when you click on them - I just get a blank white screen- and the only way out is to quit the app entirely. I’ve deleted and downloaded it again, but that didn’t fix anything. Now, for two weeks I can’t get any of the sermon series to play, even ones I’ve listened to before. Really bummed about this. I’ve updated everything I can on my end and all to no avail. I’ll be moving on to a different program that works. I hope this is solved soon. I'd originally installed just to have Pastor Begg's sermons at hand. Then discovered the daily scripture readings with audio narration and devotions, and now the app forms the core of my morning devotional. Alistair Begg is an essential voice -- dare I say prophet -- for the modern American Church. Messages delivered 20+ years ago continue to resonate today.
