## What is Trysta?

Trysta is a private diary for your dating life. Everything you'd
never write down anywhere else, in one place, behind a lock.

TRACK WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED
• Every date, every partner — notes, photos, ratings, voice memos
• The moments between dates: gifts, milestones, things that came out
• What it costs you. Dating is expensive and nobody counts.
• STI check-ups, with reminders that know exactly how many contacts
  a test would clear
• Achievements for real milestones, not gamified nonsense

THEN SEE WHAT YOU'VE BEEN MISSING
Far enough in, patterns show up that you can't see from the inside.
Who you actually go for. What your best relationships had in common.
How things tend to end — and whether it's always the same way.
Statistics do the counting. AI insights do the part that stings: an
honest read on your own behaviour, drawn from your own history. They
stay off until you turn them on — your text goes to Google's Gemini
only when you ask for an analysis, and only after you agree.

WHEN IT BECOMES SOMETHING
Start a relationship and the app changes with you: a home screen for
the two of you, a photo, and a count of how long it's been.

NOBODY ELSE GETS TO READ THIS
• Passcode and Face ID lock
• iCloud sync through your own private iCloud — your data never
  touches our servers
• No account, no feed, nothing shared with anyone, ever
• Export it or delete it whenever you want

Trysta is for adults keeping a record of their own dating life.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-10-06

New phone? Your diary comes with you.

Tap "I already use Trysta" on the first screen and bring everything back from iCloud or from a backup file: partners, dates, notes, photos. With iCloud Sync on, your settings and passcode come along too, so you land straight in your diary, already locked the way you like it.

Also new:
• A fresh welcome screen
• Duplicate tags after syncing a second device are cleaned up automatically

### 1.1.4 — 2026-10-06

- Your AI insights just got sharper. We moved Trysta's AI to a newer smarter model. Same privacy rules, better read on your patterns.
- Plus the usual polish under the hood.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-10-03

Adding a new moment now opens smoothly at the right height, without a brief full-screen flash.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-10-02

• Your chosen app icon now looks exactly the same in Dark Mode.
• Changing the app icon no longer covers the screen with the privacy shield.
• The App Icon sheet now slides up smoothly.
• Tags and interests can no longer be created or renamed with a name that's already taken.
• Editing a tag or interest now shows its current color and name right away.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-01

!!! Fixed an issue where the Face ID animation kept playing after you'd already unlocked Trysta with your passcode.

And also!

Partner's city
• Add a city to any partner, right under their birthday. Start typing and pick from suggestions. Every city with 5,000+ people is built in, in English, Russian, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese, and it works offline.
• Search works across languages: a partner saved as "London" is found by typing "Лондон" or "Londres" too.
• Can't find a place? Add your own.
• The city appears on the partner's profile.

Smarter search
• The search field now sits at the bottom, within easy reach.
• All your tags are back, grouped by category, and cities now have a group of their own.
• Type and results update with every letter: matching tags, partners by name or notes, and dates by comments or voice-note transcripts.
• Tap a result to open it straight away.

No more lost entries
• If you've typed anything in a form and tap Cancel, go back or swipe it away, Trysta asks before throwing it away. Empty forms still close instantly.
• Works for new and edited dates, partners, moments and check-ups.

Improvements and fixes
• Fixed a crash when the app synced in the background while the phone was locked.
• The Archive filter on Partners appears only when you have archived partners.
• Partner picker: sort options are now translated, and "Favorites" is a single heart icon.
• Edit Partner now uses the same compact title as the other forms.
• New Date looks cleaner with Reduce Transparency turned on.
• Smaller text fixes in Statistics and moment cards in non-English languages.
