I know this because I gave one of these scammers a fake SSN and later, a second scammer threw that fake SSN in my face to prove that they knew who I was and they could track me down if they wanted to. This was a blatant attempt at blackmail—I was also threatened that they would release my nude photos and videos to my Facebook friends and others. This app is a den of vipers and fake profiles and scammers. I was exposed to one illegal act after another from highly sophisticated scammers while using this app. I was also coerced by these scammers attempting to use my bank account for their money laundering schemes (“I will mail you this check to establish trust.”)... it sounds ridiculous that anyone could fall for such stupid demands, but again, these are sophisticated scammers, and will invest a lot of time (months for one of these accounts) trying to build your trust before they coerce you into joining their schemes.
