It won’t even let me log in as a parent to get it started. What’s the point of having an app if it won’t work. We have a newer apple tablet so it really should work. The app is up to date. We can do almost all of his school work on the go except math. Next year we won’t be using this program due to not being able to use mobile devices for it. ### 2/5 — Well… A BUNCH OF BUGS. please read all of it *2023-12-13, version 4.0.882* MISSNG LETTERS Okay so… okay we will start here. I go to the app, sign in with my password… but when I try to sign in, let’s pretend my password is ‘ilovedogs146’ and I try to write my password but it ALWAYS leaves a letter out. So if my password was ‘ilovedogs146’ it would say ‘ilovedgs146’ . So if that was my password, it’s supposed to say I love DOGS not I love DGS. So that’s a problem. CLOSES ITSELF OUT Next one is I try to finish or DO my math and it just CLOSES out. Like for example, I’m doing ‘1,254 x 3 ‘ and I’m on my scratchpad and it just closes out while I’m like in the middle of writing something. So I open the app again and I have to put n my password and let it load and all that stuff. PROBLEMS WITH SCRATCHPAD so I’m on the pencil/pen and I need some more room, so I push ‘scroll’ and start scrolling no. I don’t. I start drawing some random line. I actually see the scroll button turn a different color when I push it and then I try to scroll and I start drawing. ADVICE FROM APP DEVELOPER so my mother contacted the app developer. They said ‘‘delete the app and reinstall it.’’ So that’s what I did. When I did that I opened it back up signed in and EVERYTHING was like loading and the math app gave me a tutorial on how to use it. I was like “oh great.” So I waited for everything to load and thought it would stop closing out. I went to my lesson and went to scratchpad to help me with my math. And BOOM! it closed out again. Thank you for reading this and other than all those problems, the app helped me with math and made me work hard. It’s good but I don’t recommend it unless you like being annoyed. I don’t like it. I think they should fix it and only have a lecture, but then just you go straight to the problems instead of the practices cause like in the practices it’s not even like what we’re learning at the day is that’s like annoying and one time I got a problem right but it said I was wrong like I said the right and then it said no this problem is the problem that I put, but it said that I was wrong. It’s so annoying so many glitches so many things that need to be fixed about it. And it gave her that discouraging screen 🙄and don’t get me wrong. It simplifies learning math. The students can do their work at their own pace. It’s helped our family so much! Also, from what I understand, it only downloads 5 lessons at a time, enough to give you the freedom to work offline if needed. Very practical and well thought out. I don’t remember ever having technical issues; though I’m sure I’m forgetting some minor ones. But overall, it’s a wonderful program and app! We’ve used it on laptops, desktops, and Ipads. They all have worked seamlessly. For above average, average and below average students, this is supportive (think scaffolding-teacher language), flexible and promotes independent learning over time. After 3+ years I’ve only been frustrated a few times bc every curriculum has shortcomings.
