I love TTMIK so much. It’s become my favorite resource for learning Korean. The times I’ve actually been able to use this app (which has amounted to only a few times), I’ve enjoyed it. I really love how I can save the books I actually have so I don’t have to scroll through all of them to find them. However, most of the time it won’t let me log in to use it. I continuously get error messages, even after I uninstalled and reinstalled it. I’ve double and triple checked my log in information, as well. It’s so frustrating, because on the website I have to scroll through all of the books to find the one I am looking for. That’s the only reason I’m giving this a rating of 2. No point in having an app downloaded if I can’t use it, right?

Is this application still supported? It was good as a companion app to the books, however, a recent update seems to have wiped my library and when I try to search for books the results come back empty?

I love the program and content but I keep getting log-in failures on the app. No matter what I try: deleting and reinstalling the app, and multiple password change attempts. Also, now they are changing the website and will remove access to the podcast that go along with the books I spent $200 on if you don’t continue to pay a monthly subscription. There is only pronunciation audio files for the text and workbooks. I hope I’m mistaken about this. Still, I’ve been waiting 5 days for them to fix the problem with the app login. I don’t always have access to a computer.

A few things that would make this my go to audio player for the ebooks I’ve purchased:

1. Please allow an option for continuous play to the next track instead of stopping. This happens when you exit the app to play in the background. ‘Play all’ works, but I don’t like starting at chapter 1 every time.

2. Please allow an option to download to device for offline listening. I cannot use this app when I’m at a place with no wifi or i’m on the plane and want to learn. 

3. It would be ideal if you could check / tick the audio tracks to show you’ve completed that track. Very helpful for people to see in detail what they need to further progress.

4. Could this be responsive for ipad too? I use my ipad mini to read your ebooks on google books. It’s not a big thing if you are able to fix the suggestions above, but it would make your app appear more pro.

I love this app & the convenience of being able to have the audio tracks for each one of my purchases book. I also really like that I can simply scan my books, and they’ll automatically show in my library. That’s a great feature. This app would be perfect except it crashes often. I’ve already had to reinstall it 3xs. That’s my only issue. Otherwise, the app is wonderful.

First I want to say (as many other reviewers have) that TTMIK is an awesome resource for learning Korean. I started a few months ago and have loved all the books I've used so far. 

The app, however, really needs some improvement. I can't scan any book barcodes to save to my bookshelf (it always says Error Occurred when I try to scan) which, I can still find the books on the app, but it's more of a hassle to do each time. And also, the app crashes constantly on iOS. I can't get through an hour of studying without it freezing and crashing multiple times. And lately the app won't even open without crashing. 

So the 3 stars is only for the bugs the app has, not the content itself. I really hope they can smooth out the bugs because I want to fully utilize all the wonderful resources on this app!!

Even after re-install. I wanted to use this app. Very frustrating. When it stops you have go through a bunch of steps just to locate the book you were using, incredibly, through an ad splash page. I paid for premium TTMIK, I bought these books, and you’re pumping me with ads when you should be getting me back to where I as studying in the book. TTMIK May be the best of all Korean teaching programs but this key tool, as others have noted, does not work. Other programs like LETS SPEAK KOREAN get the audio tech right and also without hammering you with ads every move you make.  I hope you fix this but it’s been non-functioning since you put it up.

I’ve been annoying this app cause it’s pretty easy to work with your books, however I cannot scan the QR code from my books, it’s says “ product is not found “ I tried to scan it many times however it shows the same for both of the books, level 1 and the workbook, I bought them on Amazon and are brand new, so I really don’t understand what happened, but the app is organized and the tracks as well.

If this app worked as intended it would be a great resource to the amazingly well structured curriculum in the books.  The books were written by a master teacher in a well structured course of study.  The app, however, doest work at all.  It immediately tells you its unstable, and if you push through nothing works... as it said.  Having to download audio files for the aural part of the books instead of using the app is a really poor solution, and severely hinders learning using the books. Please get a developer that can fix or rebuild the app so it actually works and you'd have an amazing course of study.

For anyone saying it won’t load the book make sure to not scan the QR code but the price tag code and it will load.

Additionally to the developers, it would be really nice if you could ad a 10 second rewind, it makes it difficult just sliding it. Thanks

If the purpose of the app is just to provide audio for the books, it’s great. I’d love the app (or even a second app) to be able to do more, though. For example, it would be great if the lessons, including the audio, were available on the app, too!

This is one of the best apps for learning Korean, it crashes occasionally, but considering that this is a new app, the features will only improve and being a developer I understand getting to the market with MVP.

One feature improvement that I can recommend is while using the app on iPad, I am unable to use the split screen feature.May be this can be improved upon.

I am using iPad 12.9 inch screen with keyboard and the latest version of the iOS.

the existence of this app has made me so happy. i had downloaded the book audios for the books i have but the way the zip folders were labeled was kind of confusing and i could only play them on my laptop. this has everything organized so nicely and i can play things through my phone. just perfect.
