I think the audio and video downloads are as slow as playing the video. Why is that? This defeat the purpose of downloading. Take a look at yt-dlp open source tool, it downloads yt in a matter of seconds. 2021/1/1 edit The latest update prevents YouTube video playing in the background. This change defeats most of the value of this app. Please bring back the previous version! The built-in video player has skip/rewind 15 sec feature. This is extremely useful. Could you please add the same skip/rewind feature to the audio player as well? Thanks. But ever since the recent update, it’s completely broken. The download feature just doesn’t work anymore; it either crashes or throws an error every time I try to use it. It’s frustrating because this was the main reason I used the app! The developers need to fix this ASAP—revert the update or patch it, because right now, it’s useless. Really disappointed with how this has been handled.
