## What is Tubik?

You hand over the tablet and wonder what comes next, and how long it will keep playing. Tubik puts you in charge of both.

You choose the channels you trust, sort them into categories you create yourself, and give each category its own time budget. Tubik offers videos from the channels you add, in a simple picture-tile viewing mode, with a timer that winds down gently instead of cutting off mid-scene. No more endless autoplay.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Channels you approve – add a channel or video by link.
• Your own categories – "Learning", "Documentaries", "Quiet before bed": pick a name, a colour and an icon.
• Time budgets – a daily limit per category plus an overall daily total.
• Session timer – a clear timer ring, "stop after this video", and gentle dimming in the last minutes.
• Fine control – hide single videos, or limit a category to titles with words you choose.
• Starter suggestions – an editorial list of channels to begin with. You review it and can remove any entry.
• Insights for parents – watch time and patterns, calculated on your device.
• Parent area behind a PIN – press and hold the owl for two seconds to open it. Optional Face ID.
• English and German, on iPhone and iPad.

HOW IT WORKS
1. In the parent area, add the channels you already like.
2. Group them into categories and set the time budgets.
3. Start the viewing mode and hand over the device. The timer and the dimming take care of the ending.

PRIVACY
No account, no ads from us, no analytics or tracking SDKs. Settings, history and insights stay on your device. A profile holds an age band and a few interests, never a name, a birthday or a photo.

GOOD TO KNOW
Tubik plays videos with YouTube's official embedded player. YouTube may show its own ads in that player and receives the technical data it needs for playback, under its own privacy policy. Tubik cannot change or remove either. Tubik offers videos from the channels you add and does not review them: what those channels publish is up to their owners, so please check your selection from time to time.

Tubik is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by YouTube or Google. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.
