## What is Tukclip?

Toss it now. Sort it later.

You find a good article on the train, hit save, and the tool asks you for a folder, a tag and a category. So you stop using it. Tukclip asks you nothing when you save.

■ Toss it
Hit share anywhere and pick Tukclip. One link and an optional note, nothing else. Press save and the sheet closes immediately. With no signal it waits on the device and goes up the next time you open the app. The + button on the Inbox screen takes a pasted URL the same way.

■ Don't wait around
Meanwhile Tukclip reads the page. It writes a two or three sentence summary and picks up to three tags from the ones you already use. Not minting new tags is deliberate — once tags start multiplying, they become the next thing you have to tidy. When it is unsure, it attaches no tag at all.

■ One tap to confirm
The sorting inbox shows one card at a time. If the suggested tags fit, save as is; if not, tap a chip off and save; if you don't want to look now, later. A deferred card doesn't change state. Unconfirmed items still carry their summary, still carry their tags, still turn up in search. The inbox is a confirmation step, not a gate.

■ Vague questions still find it
Search is a conversation. Ask the way you remember it — "cutting drop-off during sign-up" — and the answer streams out a line at a time with the cards it came from attached. While you type, related saves appear underneath, and past threads stay in your history. When there isn't enough to ground an answer, it doesn't invent one.

■ It survives neglect
· The page text is saved along with the link. When the original is deleted or slips behind a paywall, your copy and its summary are still here.
· The library reads by tag or newest first, filtered by Web, X, Threads, Shorts or PDF.
· Rename, merge or delete a tag. Deleting a tag never deletes the links under it.
· A link whose page could not be read says so and asks whether to keep just the link. Nothing disappears quietly.
· There is one kind of notification: once a day, how many links are waiting. Pick the hour or turn it off. Nothing is sent on a day with nothing waiting.

■ Getting started
Sign up with an email and password, with Google, or with Apple on iOS. Your saves are yours alone — there is no sharing between users and nothing is published.

■ Worth knowing
· Summaries, tags and the answers on the search screen are generated automatically by AI and are not reviewed by a person. They can be wrong, so check the original before relying on one.
· The title, part of the page text and any note you write are sent to an AI model provider located overseas to produce those summaries, tags and answers. The privacy policy lists exactly what is sent and where.
· Saving works offline by queueing, but reading and searching what you saved needs a connection.
· An account is required, and you must be 14 or older.
· Settings › Account › Delete account erases your account and everything in it, whenever you want.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.0 — 2026-09-26

Long videos are read to the end, and the library narrows further.

· Turn on "Summarise from the full transcript" when saving a YouTube link and the whole video is read, not just the opening. The title's question is answered first, and every section carries its key points and a timestamp that jumps to that moment.
· In the library, switch on several tags to keep only the links that carry all of them. See just the ones with a note, and unfold the tag row to see every tag at once.
· Lock a tag. A locked tag is never merged and stays at the front of the list.
· The tag drawer follows your finger all the way up, and a pull down closes it.
· When something fails to load you see "Try again" instead of an empty screen. Pull to refresh, and switching tabs keeps the screen you were on.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-09-22

Tuckk is now Tukclip. The first screen you meet has been rebuilt too.

· The intro is three pages. Pick the app you share from — Instagram, YouTube or Chrome — and we show that app's screens in order. The captions are drawn into the pictures.
· On the last page, one button opens your real share sheet. Find Tukclip there and pin it to the front; from then on saving is two taps.
· The same guide is always there under Settings › Usage guide.
· Search now matches plain words too, and the empty screen keeps what you looked for last.
· Pinch to zoom actually works on the tag map.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-09-18

Favorites and the tag map are here.

· Star what you'll come back to. Toggle it from the bookmark in the detail header, then use the Favorites chip at the front of your library to see only those. It stacks with tag filters.
· Tag management now has a tag map. Every tag on one board — pinch to zoom, drag one circle onto another to merge them. Tap a circle and a drawer below holds what you saved under that tag.
· Tags that belong together sit together, wrapped in a dashed outline.
· Pick light or dark in Settings › Theme. The whole app is re-dressed in liquid glass.
· Items still waiting in your inbox no longer show up in the library or in search.
· Opening Tuckk from another app's share sheet now leaves your inbox standing behind the capture sheet.
· Search shows every save a keyword matched. Settings shows the app version and build number.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-13

Tuckk now speaks seven languages.

· Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Hindi, Spanish and Arabic.
· The app follows your device language. Change it any time in Settings › Language.
· Arabic lays out right to left. After switching to or from Arabic, reopen the app so the layout flips.
· Summaries, tags and the daily digest now arrive in the language you chose, not just the interface.
