The experience has been top-notch, and I feel completely at ease renting my clothes through this platform. I have tried many other options for rentals over the years and they by far have the best selection of luxury designers, quality pieces to rent and incredible customer service. Since you are renting from someone else’s closet you are going to get clothing that has been well maintained and taken care of. Every piece I have rented has looked brand new. I love that my closet has more options because rental costs are also much lower than other sites. The process for both borrowing and lending was easy to follow and went well. Also, it’s a sustainable way to continue to expand access to clothing items for rent. Unlike subscription sites, there are more unique and harder to find pieces available to rent. I also like that there is an interview process, as it makes me feel secure when lending my items. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Verification by phone *2024-08-05, version 4.4.3* Most stupid verification ever, how you can verify me by phone conversation? They didn’t do FaceTime and actually didn’t ask much questions. Probably they just didn’t like my accent, didn’t even notify me that they didn’t approve my account and now I’m able to go through their verification in 6 months again. What are you still going to verify??? There is another services like By Rotation, I can post my listings there. ### 1/5 — Terrible with no real customer service *2024-02-01* This app is a gimmick . Don't rent your clothes out on it there are many other apps and companies that are more upfront, fair, pay more, and actually respond on time. Pickle is amazing try that ! The customer service team has screwed me over, lost my items, didn't help me retrieve them, have never provided me with the late fees they promise , they don't even have a clear cut FAQ page. Do not trust them with shipping your designer clothes out they will not protect you if anything happens. **Developer response:** Hello Elina, we are sorry to hear these are your feelings, especially because you are still an active user on the platform.   Our customer service team has responded and worked with you through all the concerns you have had. Thank you ### 1/5 — Unusable *2022-12-14, version 4.2.8* First of all after using the app, I think the reviews are fake. Shameful behaviour. The waiting time to see the clothes makes this app unusable. The quality of clothes is hit or miss, they allow wrinkly horrible photos of clothes to be uploaded amidst high fashion clean shots. ### 1/5 — OK as Renter, do not rent your items on this app *2022-11-22, version 4.2.8* Do not use Tulerie. I had a terrible experience with them. They lost my $2500 dolce and gabana dress. They under insured the USPS package at $100 instead of market rate. Package got lost and i am solely on the hook for the $2500 item. no protection for renters. STAY AWAY! ### 1/5 — You have to interview to even view products *2022-08-23, version 4.2.7* I signed up which was being asked silly questions like my favorite vacation. You had to upload a profile photo. Then after all that to view products you had to INTERVIEW with a representative. I just want to shop or rent - why make it so hard!? Then rental prices looked a bit high for just a few days rental. Something I love about jewelry is that you get to support other girlies who are into fashion just like you and are the same size as you. Your family and friends might also be into fashion, but they might not have the same size so your closets are not shareable.
