## What is Tumble?

Tumble is an 8×8 block puzzle with gravity. You get three pieces at a time; drag them onto the board and fill a row or column to clear it. The blocks above then fall into the gap. If they complete another line, that line clears too, and each step of the chain raises the multiplier. It's worth checking what sits above a line before you finish it.

How scoring works:
• Clearing two or three lines at once multiplies the points
• Each extra step in a gravity chain multiplies again
• Clearing on back-to-back moves builds a combo
• A line made of a single color scores double

There's no timer. If you leave mid-game, your board is saved as you left it.

In Daily mode everyone gets the same pieces for the day, and your best Daily score goes on a Game Center leaderboard. A new Daily starts at 00:00 UTC. Endless mode has its own all-time leaderboard.

With iPhone Duo open and held wide, or half-folded like a book, the board takes one side of the fold and your score and pieces take the other. Nothing you drag or tap sits in the crease. Stand it up like a laptop, or open it and hold it tall, and everything you touch moves to the bottom half, with your score shown larger on top. When it's closed, the game fills the outer screen with no black bars.

On iPad, Tumble plays in portrait, landscape, and Split View.

Tumble is free, with ads: a full-screen ad after some games, and an optional video ad when you want a Revive (one per game) or New pieces. A one-time purchase removes all ads and makes Revive and New pieces free. There's no account to make; leaderboards use Game Center. The game plays offline, but ads and leaderboards need a connection.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-10-06

iPhone Duo support:
• Open and held wide, or half-folded like a book: the board takes one side of the fold, your score and pieces the other. Nothing you drag or tap sits in the crease.
• Stood up like a laptop, or open and held tall: the board, pieces, and buttons all sit on the bottom half, so no drag crosses the fold. Your score and the chain and combo banners are shown larger on the top half.
• The Game over and How to play cards open on the half with your pieces, clear of the fold.
• Closed: the game fills the outer screen with no black bars.

On iPad, Tumble now plays in landscape and in Split View.
