Firstly the store charged heavily without mentioning about price in advance & they priced it as per their convenience after picking up our blanket (we asked for the price before, but they didn’t answer clearly). Their price list on app is just for name’s sake. Secondly, we got our delivery delayed Thirdly, even after paying that much & prolonged delivery, there are yellow stains in my blanket. Tumbledry has very poor service. I’ll never ever recommend Tumbledry to anyone. Instead I should have gone for a local vendor, they do better job in lowered price.😡😡😡 Moreover, when I raised complaint, their customer care process is so slow. Still the issue is not resolved. ‘I WANT FULL REFUND’ Rating- 0.5/10 ### 1/5 — Poor service and delivery times *2023-08-14* To start with app experience is poor. The poor customer service and customer responses make the overall experience even worse. I have them some clothes for washing and steam ironing. They said will deliver in 2 days. 2 days passed and no delivery done. Their app shows orders but no delivery date. Raised a ticket on app but got no response for a day. Called the customer service and they said delivery will be done a day later (5th day already). Somehow managed to get store managers number at Whitefield BLR store from Google and kept calling him but he never picked up the call. Called customer service again and they asked me to call same store managers number. Finally pulled number off the guy who picked the clothes from my house through MyGate app on 5th day since no delivery had happened till 5PM. Followed up with the delivery guy couple of times and finally got the clothes. Worth avoiding them. There are couple of more service providers I found online and they are much better. ### 1/5 — Horrible experience *2023-07-29* Dont ever try this service. First they will not pick your stuff in the slot selected. 2nd they will give you back someone else’s product for which again you have to struggle to get your original produt back. 3rd they will return it uncleaned as against the tall claims they make in their app and elsewhere. 4th when you get your uncleaned product back, there will be something missing in it. in my case the shoes were returned uncleaned and were missing the in-soles. Despite multiple follow ups i have still not got back my shoes and it has been almost a month now. App is even more pathetic, if you raise a complain and submit it, it never gets submitted. Dont waste your money on this service, and most importantly if you value your time, stay away from them. ### 1/5 — Horrible app do not try false promises *2023-02-15* I book or scheduled a pick on the 12th of Feb 2023 for a Monday pick of 7pm to 8pm slot. I contacted the customer care the same day and told them that I am first time user and they assured me everything will be smooth. The next day the store person never came nor called to confirm the pick up. I redialled the customer care and they assured me again that they have escalated the concern and rescheduled my pick up for the 14th of Feb 2023 between 6pm to 7pm. Again the same story the store never called nor were my clothes picked up. So dissatisfied will delete the app and never use the service again, I am new to Aurangabad and was going to need this service at least once a week for the next 6 months, such poor standards for customer care and retention. ### 1/5 — Horrible service, terrible app *2023-01-11* 1. I needed some clothes to be laundered and was googling services in my area, they called me and assured me they will pick up the clothes next morning. The morning slot came and went and no one called despite having a confirmed slot. When I tried to reschedule they said they had no morning slots and confirmed an afternoon pick up slot. I waited and after the slot timing had passed someone from their Malleshwaram store cancelled the pickup without even calling or informing me! These guys ARE NOT RELIABLE even if you have time to spare. I have used other services like Fabricspa before and they were prompt and professional. Their customer service is horrible. 2. The app is super glitchy and unreliable. 3. IIM/IIT founder tag does not guarantee a good product or service, don’t waste your time with these people. ### 1/5 — Mind Blowingly Horrible service *2022-12-08* I had been searching for a service to get my shoes cleaned. And I have no idea what I did wrong in my life that I stumbled upon this app. Gave my shoes for cleaning. Even after specifically saying that I had a match three days later, and would require the shoes by then. They initially said they would give it before the match. But after calling them multiple times, they started putting the blame on the app developers saying that the app isn’t responding properly and because of that they had difficulties in providing the shoes on time. Finally after numerous repeated calls and fake promises, I received my shoes after 12 days. Luckily I didn’t receive the laces of the shoes, that I had given for cleaning. Cause for some reason they expect me to run around the shoes without the laces on. I have no energy left to call them up and enquire about the laces. They have horrible service and fake promises. If you’re lucky, you’ll get your stuff in one piece. And if a miracle happens, you might get a good service done for it as well. I recommend tumbledry to anyone who has a lot of money, and wishes to waste it. And I also recommend to start praying once you give out your products for cleaning. ### 1/5 — Disappointing Experience *2022-09-24* I was a bit sceptical about using their services but when I used it for the first the experience was horrible. Starting with price, it’s almost double and for some basic items like kurta/payjama it’s almost thrice as compared to local dry cleaning services. Coming to delivery services there are too many stories, delivery person gives a different price store manager says something else and customer care has a totally different policy altogether, in-short their is no clarity on what will be your delivery charges, you place your order based on discussion with service centre but the ground reality and prices are different from what you have been told on call. The mess doesn’t stop here, their store manager claims that the store address has not been updated on Google Maps for 6 months and asks you to sue Google for it that means your delivery charges which depends on the distance will be based on a store location which you can’t verify unless you physically go there which ultimately defeats the purpose of delivery services. Also who asks their customer to sue a third party for a service which they haven’t received from them, I mean this is the most bizarre thing I have ever experienced. Overall I would not recommend anyone to use their service rather trust your local vendor which will give a better customer experience and won’t dig a hole in your pocket. ### 1/5 — Significant decline in quality *2021-11-24* Have been using their services for the past year or so. At first the laundry service was great, store and delivery person were prompt, helpful, cooperative, and reliable. It was a blessing. App was rudimentary and I assumed it will take some time to develop. Fast forward to now: One needs to call them multiple times to beg them to return the clothes. On calling the helpline number, the person whose literal job it is to help you, gives you the number of the store and asks you to follow up directly. Isse behtar, yellow pages rakh dete. You actually pay someone to do this?! Even then it takes 17-18 days for them to return the items. And when the items came back - my insanely expensive silk saree has threads unravelling every which way from it. And it feels more like khadi than silk. Terribly disappointing. Oh, almost forgot to mention, in the last year-and-a-half no new features have been added on the app - it doesn’t tell me my subscription balance, doesn’t provide any option for drop off. Worst of all, I cannot even send a photo of the mess they have made of my saree with the feedback. ### 1/5 — Delay in delivery, no information *2021-10-28* My dry-cleaning clothes have been delayed and I still do not have any information. Helpdesk told me to get in touch with local vendor. The app is not integrated well with on the ground business. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — PLEASE DONT TRUST TUMBLE DRY WITH YOUR SHOES OR CLOTHES! *2026-02-25* I had given my NB’s for them to wash with PRIOR INFORMATION to throughly check the condition of the shoes from the outside and well as the INSIDE throughly as the shoes were gifted by someone who is no longer alive. I even called them to tell them to throughly check the shoes inside out and send pictures. NEWSFLASH they didn’t send any picture. Now, when the shoes got delivered guess what I saw? My shoes were torn! Literally torn! We’ll ignore the fact that the shoes weren’t even clean to begin with and when I told them to get it fixed they were super rude and super ignorant about the whole thing. When asked for any sort of compensation they said they’ll offer me 5K to shut my mouth and to not post it in social media. I thought maybe it’s okay and I can connect with the NB team to get my shoe fixed with this amount AND THEN GUESS WHAT THEY SAID? “shoes? you won’t be getting your shoes back as the item is defective, the store will confiscate it.” Excuse me? Those shoes cost 25K+ and just the repair is gonna cost me a good chunk. “this is our policy, if you don’t like it then we can’t do anything about it. you either take your damaged shoe back or take the 5K we are offering you” and then the cut the call and refused to pick up the call and even when someone else is picking up, they are hanging up on us after listening to our concern. NEVER IN YOUR RIGHT MIND GOVE TUMBLE DRY FOR A SHOE CLEAN. This was focused on shoe cleaning but the clothes that I gave them to DRYCLEAN also came with bubbling and white clothes were an unimaginable colour of pink :) ### 1/5 — When “Premium Service” becomes a costly nightmare: My experience with Tumbledry *2026-02-18* Absolutely appalling experience with Tumbledry. I trusted them with my expensive suede shoes after their store multiple times assured me they were experts. Not only was my delivery was delayed by a week, but my shoes were COMPLETELY ruined- fabric texture destroyed and colour changed. To make it worse, their CUSTOMER SERVICE is offering a ridiculously 1/4th of my shoes price as compensation. Why Claim to be India’s #1 laundry service if you can’t take accountability for ruining customer property. ### 1/5 — Worst *2026-01-29* The worst service ever!! The took my laundry 6 days ago! And it still shows “in progress” you can’t talk to anyone and the “whatsup contact” it’s just a joke. I recently entrusted them with several expensive shirts for a simple wash and iron, clearly instructing them NOT to do any funny business as it could ruin the clothes. They completely ignored my instructions, subjected my clothes to harsh chemicals, and irreparably damaged them. The clothes are ruined, and are now unwearable, there is a weird colour bleed. To make matters worse, when I raised the issue, their customer service was absolutely pathetic—no responsibility taken, no apology, and no fair compensation offered. They acted as if they did me a favor by destroying my clothes! I also paid ₹5000 for their service, which is now a complete waste. I will never use their service again and strongly urge everyone to avoid this place unless you want your clothes destroyed and your complaints ignored. Best part is they don’t refund the service charge you paid them to destroy your own clothes. This company is highly unprofessional and negligent. There are plenty of better laundry services out there—save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere! ### 1/5 — Terrible company *2025-01-09* Their laundromats are the worst rated on Google. Customers can’t see the actual reviews. Their ladromat lost my precious bag and it is impossible to get to escalation team of Tumbledry. They use delay tactics until the customer gives up. Better to use high quality alternative - Fabrico. ### 1/5 — Worst Services and Customer Support *2024-12-12* I am thoroughly dissatisfied with the service provided by Tumbledry’s partner. I had specifically communicated the need to have my shoes delivered by the 10th of December, 2024, as I required them for an important out-of-town family function. However, the delivery was delayed, and my repeated calls and messages went unanswered. It took 5-6 attempts to get through to someone, and even then, they outright refused to deliver the product that day, showing a complete lack of accountability and professionalism. Such behavior is highly unprofessional and tarnishes the reputation of Tumbledry’s service standards. The outlet in question is located at Shop No. 14, Shree Brahma Square, Sector 1, Greater Noida West. Adding to the frustration, the customer service experience was equally appalling. Despite contacting them multiple times (5-6 calls), the representatives showed no genuine concern for addressing my complaint. They merely wasted time on calls without offering any real solutions. I was promised a callback, which I have yet to receive, even after two days. To make matters worse, when the product was finally delivered in the evening, it was evident that no proper cleaning had been done. The shoes appeared to have been hastily washed in a washing machine, causing visible damage, yet I was charged the full price for the service. This experience is unacceptable, and I strongly urge you to take immediate and strict action against both the partner and the customer service team involved. Based on this incident, I can no longer recommend Tumbledry’s services to anyone. ### 1/5 — 3rd class company *2024-11-26* I had given on 20 th nov 2024 for laundry and iron they said it will come in 3 days But I waited for 5 days then even no call were initiated for me then I decided to call they said waiting is done just ironing is remaining I will give it to you by tommorow I said ironing doesn't take this much time they said just give us time then I said ok. They said tomorrow morning we will deliver but guess what they didn't and then again I call at afternoon they said just wait will deliver till Evening and when evening came I didn't call directly went to shop and even the washing of clothes were not done they again said just give us 1 hour will do everything Then after 1 hour they still haven't done anything I sat there and after doing ironing they gave back the cloths and after going home when I opened the cloths I got to know no cloths were even washed the photos of same are attached ### 1/5 — Fraud app *2024-06-10* Worst service, poor coordination between customer service and pick up guys, and rude behavior of customer representatives. ### 1/5 — Poor service, unprofessional and Unsatisfied customer *2024-02-07* Worst experience. I called the customer care for booking pickup and they also informed me about the prices of various clothes dry clean as per my location. The pick up guy on arrival stated another price( different than mention on website and also customer care). When i told them these are not the prices i was informed he called someone and got stuck that these are the prices. When i called the customer care then in seconds surprisingly he agreed on prices informed to us by customer care. They collected the clothes and promised to deliver on a date chosen by them. I was ok with the date as i required them next day of the delivery. I enquired twice and confirmed the date as i needed few clothes and asked them if there is any chance that they will be unable to deliver let me know, i will leave those clothes aside and give rest, but they reassured that they will deliver. On delivery date i received no information and update from them till 5pm. I called them and they told me they are closed. Eventually after multiple requests they delivered the clothes on a bike with clothes stuffed inside a jhola. This all was coordinated by a person called Shivam. I was relieved they delivered and paid them. Just 1 hour later when i began unpacking them and opened that jhola all the clothes were mashed up.. Leave aside ladies suits, the gents suits( 3 set in total) were all in bad state. We called them the next day and now Its been more than 1 and half month and still no reply from them and they say everyday we will collect it but no one arrives. And today some other person receives the call and says it is not possible. I had visited few local dry cleaners, who were not able to service my request. I thought to try their services and also added my old floater to be cleaned. This was a door to door service. After the runner collected the items, I received detailed images of the items on my WhatsApp to ensure that I can have some proofs in case the product gets damaged.. I am sure it was done to ensure their safeguards as well. The items were serviced to great satisfaction. Give it a try ### 5/5 — My experience with Tumbledry New Delhi *2023-01-29* At first I tried to register through app. OTP did not come even after trying "resend" 4 times. "Get OTP on call" also did not work (called number invalid). I contacted Tumbledry through their website and received a revert within an hour. Asked them if they could come and collect my curtains for dry cleaning. One person came after about 3 hours. Very polite and took my curtains off the rods. Received the invoice through whatsapp. After 3 days two persons came with dry cleaned curtains and hung them back. Paid through UPI, there is no smell - it's a job well done.
