However, it only provides various instrument tunings, and not a complete chromatic scale, let alone a diatonic scale. I wanted to use this as a pitch pipe for a cappella singing at A432. ### 1/5 — Not a stand alone *2015-11-17, version 2.4* If you have to open an iPhone, what is the point of having it work on a watch? Wish I could get my money back ### 1/5 — Tuner is consistently inaccurate *2014-02-01, version 2.1* I have nine tuning forks comprising four different pitches. Some are pitch duplicates, e.g., five are A-440. All are high quality English or German made. My room temperature is consistent with the design standard for the forks, 20 degrees C. They are accurate, but this tuner app consistently reports that they are all about 0.3 hertz sharp. So the 440 forks for example all register 440.3 hertz on the tuner app. That, along with the hair trigger response of the tuner, always jumping around so that I find it difficult to read at all, even with tuning forks as a sound source, renders it useless to me. Therefore I can't recommend it. ### 1/5 — Don't work no more :( *2013-10-05* This app doesn't pick up sound through the mike anymore. Probably an incompatibility issue with iOS 7. This free tuner puts all others to shame. Not disappointed at all. It detects what note is being played, and shows if it is sharp or flat. I used it to tune my daughter's cello and discovered in the process that the piano I had been using is a bit off too.
