I have a full GTR racing rig as well and this app blows Forza Tune pro out of the water. Getting the app synced was a bit confusing they need to have a video showing how to get your IP Address off your phone and enter that in the app because after 4 months of having the app yesterday was the first time I got it linked. I tried the free test version which only lets you tune the 92 Cossie and I instantly paid the 14.99 for the pro version and cars I had tunes using Forza tune pro drive absolutely amazing. I thought they drove great tuning with Forza tune pro app but this app makes them drive a 100 times better. ### 5/5 — Wow! *2022-01-06, version 1.5.1* This does exactly what it says it does, and does it well! What more can be said? I guess the only thing I would do to improve it would be to support vehicles with less than 4 gears. FH5 has the Rimac Concept Two, which has only two gears. Maybe just support as low as one gear? Heh. ### 5/5 — Best tuning app for Forza 7 *2021-03-09, version 1.4.2* This is hands down the most accurate and intuitive/interactive app I have used for the game Forza 7 Motorsport on the xbox console. I mean the app literally learns the car and track as you do a test drive! If you want to get better at tuning and shave seconds off your laps, this is the way to do it. It requires minimal knowledge and can make every car in the game better. In order to go fast, you need an app that can take your real-time data and continuously make you quicker. I really love the aspect but I’ve been having a problem where the ride height check always puts me at max ride height for every car even though I can see it can be a lot lower and the suspension analysis always seems to keep saying further assessment required until I completely max out my springs. Previously unpredictable/undriveable cars are now great fun. I’ve tried tuning apps since Forzatune for Forza Motorsport 4, and this is the very best of the lot. It calculates a tune and gearing map based on your own driving style. The longer you drive, the more tailored your tune is, and you can do this for every car and track (if you could be bothered). Whether you use your tunes as they come, or as base tunes to work on, this app takes all the guesswork out of it. I genuinely cannot recommend enough. ### 5/5 — Great Tuner *2020-05-20, version 1.4.0* Great balanced tuning app that actually adapts to your driving. I just wish you could view the overview of the tune when the analysis is incomplete, especially the gear ratios. Nonetheless, the gear tuning is especially useful, for both getting decent ratios for the track and learning how to set your own gears. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Subscription paywall *2023-11-08, version 1.6.2* I had high hopes for this, as it looked like it was from a smaller developer. However those hopes were short lived as seems to be the way now, as soon as you open the app for the first time you are confronted with a subscription paywall. Shame really but that’s the way apps go now. Could also improve: Spring stiffness tuning (I may be wrong on this one) would be good to understand whether curbs impact the stiffness setting and if yes, eliminate them from telemetry data in test laps or adjust instructions for test laps to avoid spring stiffness becoming too high if it’s affected by the curbs. Eg: if the springs bottom out on curbs doesn’t mean they’ll do so during the normal conditions Same goes for anti-roll bars - not sure if these are being affected by the curbs Some sort of prompt on Differential balance adjustment to understand which will be affected: entry, mid or exit and a consideration for AWD cars Would be good to have: An option to adjust the final drive using a slider (in the final tune) and get updated ratios. Clear instructions before the test laps if the crashes or curbs may affect the final tune in tests which may be impacted by this Overall, very positive changes with the recent update. Would be great to see more improvements to the tuning flow to make it more intuitive and more options to play around with the final tune adjustments Original review (pre-2024): Very unintuitive interface. Instructions lack clarity. Odd spring tension rates. Algorithm and formulas need updating. Was able to achieve much better results with a different app and even using calculations in an Excel spreadsheet, especially for gearing tuning. Not sure what’s the point of the app receiving telemetry data if it fails to use this data correctly. I’m really enjoying the app. With a large number of different cars for each different track, in different classes with different upgrades this can be an extremely long process. Is there a way to get a generic tune for a car setup? This would enable the user to compare different car upgrade paths before digging deeper into each tune for the numerous possible upgrade paths previously mentioned. This would make an almost perfect app untouchable.
