When I would exit out of the ad and have to repress the note another ad would come up. I understand you have to make money somehow, but this is very much unnecessary to the point where a 1 minute tuning session turns in 10. I don’t recommend this app AT ALL. Highly unrecommended. If you need a tuner for your viola just use a piano tuner. It said that my A string was in tune when I know for a fact that it was out of tune. Also there are so many adds it gets annoying and seems unprofessional. I would rate this a zero. Please stop the adds and I will change my review. Pano tuner is much better. ### 1/5 — Ads galore *2023-06-24* Downloaded this app because it seemed like a simple viola tuner. Don’t let them fool you, it isn’t. Every time you try to tune a note, an ad comes up. Using this app, my viola actually went out of tune. Waste of time, not worth a download. ### 1/5 — Bad *2023-06-11* To start off if you try to go to a new pitch there is ad after ad which makes it frustrating because you can’t clearly hear the pitch and may mess some things up. While tuning app crashed or malfunctioned making harder to tune. This app isn’t good, any time you click a string it brings up ad. I know you have to make money somehow considering the app itself is free, but it’s a bit excessive. Second the fact that you can only use it to tune the strings. I use a physical tuner most of the time and it can tell you any note you play whether it’s a string or a finger on a string, this limits what you can tune. I recommend finding a website as a tuner or just getting a physical one because this is a waste of time. I would personally spend the money for a real tuner rather than a free app that can only tune C,G,D, and A. ### 1/5 — WORST TUNER EVER *2022-07-27, version 2.0* I mean the title, absolute worst tuner ever. And when I open up the app, it says “click on a note to start!” So I clicked on a note, but it gave me an ad, and sometimes I get kicked out of the app. If you are reading this, do not download the app. It uses more time with ads than actual tuning. ### 1/5 — L.b *2022-02-04, version 2.0* I would give you a zero but that’s not possible so I give you a one. The metronome is pretty annoying and since I’m using my phone it just auto turns off and the metronome stops. If they can make it so that there are options for the metronome sound and make it so that the metronome keeps playing when the phone is turned off, that would be great. ### 3/5 — Too much ads *2019-02-05, version 2.0* This app is a bit off with its tuning its self, but that’s not what really bothers me. What bothers me is that every time I click on a not to tune it shows a ad and I don’t always have to mess with the ads. ### 2/5 — Tuner is great! The ads ruin it *2023-07-23* The tuner works fine! The problem is that the ads that they have also have music so as soon as you get the note in your head the ad blasts it out with a song that totally eliminates the tone from your head. Try some banner ads with no sounds instead.
