## What is TuneFalls?

TuneFalls turns your Plex music library into a radio that learns what you love.

Point it at your Plex server and it builds a dial of stations from your library's own tags — genres, moods, decades and activities — each one a crate of records ready to play. Thumb tracks up or down and every station tunes itself to your taste.

• Stations built from YOUR library — no subscription catalogue, no gaps
• The mood pad: drag between melancholy and uplifting, calm and intense, and tune a station to the moment
• Energy arcs that wind a session down or warm it up over the hour
• Lossless playback — FLAC and ALAC stream untouched from your own server
• Radio that learns: thumbs teach each station what belongs
• Your plays and stats, kept on your device
• Background audio with full lock-screen controls

TuneFalls needs a Plex Media Server with a music library. Sign in with Plex, pick your server, press play.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.13 — 2026-10-02

Still hoovering up a few bugs and adding a couple of features to round out the product. Pretty much sorted now.

- New: “Fresh Takes”, a station built from what you listen to most that plays only music you haven’t heard yet. It falls back to your usual mix rather than going quiet when there’s nothing new left.
- Fixed two songs playing at once when skipping to a track that was already downloaded.

### 1.0.12 — 2026-09-23

When your Plex sign-in expires or is revoked, TuneFalls now recognises it everywhere — on launch and whenever playback or a station fails — and takes you straight to sign in again, instead of getting stuck reconnecting or showing a confusing “couldn’t start playback” error. Songs you’ve already downloaded keep playing while you sign back in.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-14

This releases nails down a few niggles.

- Saved stations, channels, and Today's Journey now start playing as soon as you tap them, without an extra tap on the player.
- Playback recovers properly when a connection drops or you move between Wi-Fi and mobile data, including on shared and remote Plex servers.
- Play counts and history are more accurate: failed starts, retries and tracks skipped before you heard them no longer count as plays.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-07

- New: an "Enhance library" button in the You tab fills in richer genres and moods for your albums and queues newly-heard tracks for mood analysis.
- Today's Journey no longer adds a duplicate to My stations each day, and My stations now lists only the stations you made yourself.
- More reliable playback when you start a song, including in silent mode; tapping a track in search now plays on through the rest of the list.
- Fixed a blank station that could appear after syncing across devices.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-03

- Connects faster to your Plex server when you're away from home.
- Stations you made before sync arrived now show up on your other devices.
- Tapping an artist in search now opens their albums.
- Full VoiceOver support and bigger buttons throughout.
- Now Playing fits properly on smaller iPhones.
- Fixed browse showing the wrong list after a quick tap.
