Your commute deserves a better soundtrack. Tunelapse builds a personalized queue of music and podcasts that fits your commute almost to the minute — so your last song ends as you pull in, not twenty minutes after. SET YOUR COMMUTE Enter your route and how you travel — drive, train, bus, bike, or walk — and Tunelapse calculates your commute time. Save up to 10 commutes and switch between them anytime. DIAL IN YOUR MIX Spin the listening wheel: Only Music, Mostly Music, Balanced, Mostly Podcasts, or Only Podcasts. Tell Tunelapse your favorite artists, genres, podcasts, and categories once — every queue after that is yours. BUILD YOUR QUEUE One tap and Tunelapse assembles the perfect queue, filling your commute with real songs from Apple Music and fresh episodes from your favorite shows. Watch it come together on the highway timeline, then hit play. MADE FOR THE ROAD • CarPlay: your queue, commutes, and Now Playing on your car's display • Live Activity: track progress from your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island • Smart variety: every rebuild mixes things up, and podcast episodes you've already heard stay out of your queue • Export music queues to Apple Music as playlists • History: replay or rebuild any past queue WORKS WITH APPLE MUSIC Full songs require an Apple Music subscription. No subscription? Tunelapse still builds your queue and plays 30-second previews, and podcasts always play in full. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your routes, preferences, and history stay on your device. Tunelapse collects no data. Set it up once. Every commute after that is one tap. ## Key features - Personalized commute playlists - Music and podcast mix control - Apple Music integration - CarPlay and Live Activity support - Privacy-focused design - Commute time calculation ## Pricing and in-app purchases Base price: Free. **One-time purchases** | Purchase | Price | Type | | --- | --- | --- | | Nice Tip | $1.99 | one-time | | Generous Tip | $4.99 | one-time | | Amazing Tip | $9.99 | one-time | ## Is Tunelapse safe? More tweaks for the Duo! • Today now shows your active commute as a map card, with your route drawn right on it. Tap it to jump to your commute settings, or use Switch to change commutes without leaving Today. • A fresh look for the top of Today. • On iPhone Duo (open), the wheel and your commute map sit side by side, and the highway timeline is taller so it reads at a glance. Looks amazing on Duo's beautiful big display! As always, thank you for supporting Tunelapse! ### 1.4.3 — 2026-10-26 Ready for iPhone Duo! Tunelapse now looks right at every size. Today now uses a two-column layout when your phone is unfolded or turned sideways, with the queue beside your controls. Fold it back and everything stays reachable, including the welcome screen and the setup walkthrough. • The listening-style wheel and Build Queue animation stay perfectly centered on any screen • Queue rows handle long song and episode titles more gracefully • Smoother layout in landscape on every iPhone Squashed a bug or two, too... As always, your commute playlist is built to end exactly when you arrive. ### 1.4.2 — 2026-10-24 Ready and Optimized for iPhone Duo!! Tunelapse now looks right at every size. Unfold your iPhone Duo and Today becomes a comfortable centered column. Fold it back and everything stays reachable, including the welcome screen and the setup walkthrough. • The listening-style wheel and Build Queue animation stay perfectly centered on any screen • Queue rows handle long song and episode titles more gracefully • Smoother layout in landscape on every iPhone As always, your commute playlist is built to end exactly when you arrive. Thank you for using Tunelapse! ### 1.4.1 — 2026-10-09 Bus and train commutes work again, plus a smarter fallback when Apple Music is unavailable. Bus and train routes Choosing Bus or Train no longer shows a Route Error. Tunelapse now gets a transit estimate from Apple Maps for any route Maps can plan, and the map preview shows your start and end points. Tapping the map opens Apple Maps with bus or train directions to match your choice. One note: Apple Maps provides a single estimate for all public transit, so Bus and Train show the same travel time. The adjustment stepper is right there if your usual bus or train runs longer. Better mixed queues If Apple Music can't provide songs, for example when access hasn't been granted yet, Balanced and Mostly Music queues used to stop halfway with no explanation. They now fill the full commute with podcasts and tell you why, with a one-tap path to fix it. As always, everything you already use in Tunelapse stays free. ### 1.4 — 2026-09-29 A smarter Lock Screen, and the start of smarter queues. Commute at a glance: Your Live Activity is now all about the trip. See your commute name, a live countdown to arrival, and your progress through the whole queue right on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. It keeps ticking even while your phone is locked, and flips to "Arrived" when your queue wraps up. The song you're hearing is already shown in the system's Now Playing panel, so we stopped repeating it. Tunelapse learns what you like Tunelapse now keeps a private, on-device record of which songs and episodes you finish and which you skip. Nothing leaves your phone. Also squashed a few bugs. Thank you for using Tunelapse! ## Apps similar to Tunelapse | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Beautiful Clock Radio Alarm](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/beautiful-clock-radio-alarm/id442148386) | 3.3 (10) | Free | Music | | [TuneScroll: Discover Music](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/tunescroll-discover-music/id6759293386) | 5.0 (3) | Free | Music | | [Drum Corps Summer Tour](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/drum-corps-summer-tour/id1422011133) | 4.1 (85) | Free | Music | | [Playlist Omega - powered by AI](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/playlist-omega-powered-by-ai/id6478469314) | — | Free | Music | | [AniPlaylist](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/aniplaylist/id6746365113) | 5.0 (11) | Free | Music | | [Setto Swipes](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/setto-swipes/id6759359276) | 4.6 (50) | Free | Music | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
