As a tuning app, this one of the best I’ve ever used. My review would be a 5 star if it were just for that. The reason I give it 3 stars is that I purchased the Pro version. Every time you open the app it defaults to the free one and gives you notifications about upgrading. After closing those prompts, you have to click “Get Pro” version which sends you to the App Store. From there you click “OK.” It’s extremely annoying after having owned this app for 3 months. I shouldn’t have to check in with the App Store every time to use a $5 app. It makes the paid version useless. ### 3/5 — Sacrifice your privacy for basic functionality *2026-06-15, version 4.25.4* That’s the deal now. I’ve been a musician for 20 years and have used every type of tuner you can imagine. Pedal tuners, headstock, mic, etc. nothing beats this one. You can watch the pitch waves move as you tune and line it up perfectly; and it’s extremely accurate. It would be incredible if this company somehow put this app/algorithm into a physical tuner pedal.
