But I found I had to wear my watch in my right hand near the acoustic guitar for it to work well. I'm not sure if it's because of switch from bottom to top for reading, but it seems like rather than mirroring, it's been shifted around in a circle, which makes readings backwards to previous? Otherwise works fine ### 3/5 — Pas mal, problème de réglage du diapason *2024-02-14, version 2.0.4* Un bon tuner pour Apple Watch, MAIS gros problème : malgré un réglage sur 442 HZ, il reste centré sur 440 Hz (le LA joué sur un generateur de fréquence à 442 Hz apparaît en rouge, et redevient vert à 440 Hz). Le problème reste pour n’importe quel changement de frequence du LA dans les réglages. C’est embêtant pour un programme payant (meme si peu cher) que j’aimerais promouvoir auprès de les eleves, qui jouent dans des diapasons variés. Maybe useful in an emergency? *2023-10-22, version 2.0.2* The app picks up notes from my acoustic guitar. Like other digital tuners it’s a little finicky but this app is far worse than those. Either do to microphone issues or perhaps Apple limits the mic API on the watch to avoid draining the battery. In any case, it’s just easier to find a tuning fork online and tune it the old fashioned way. ### 1/5 — Report problems *2023-10-15, version 2.0.2* This app not installed on my device. ### 1/5 — It cant hear you *2023-10-14, version 2.0.2* This app is able to hear my acoustic guitar probably 80% of the time but it can’t hear my electric at all. It’s probably an issue with the microphone in the watch so it can’t all be blamed on the app, but it’s still an app you pay for that doesn’t work properly. ### 1/5 — First app I paid for for Apple Watch doesn’t work *2023-10-11, version 2.0.2* Bought my first Apple Watch, an ultra 2. Latest version of Watch OS Downloaded the app, it opens, asks for microphone access. Press start to start tuning, I just get a screen with a note on it, I play a string , no reaction. Change every possible thing in the app, zero reaction. On top of it, the crown moves through the notes waaay too fast, so even if I wanted to select a different note, it is impossible to do. Totally broken spend your money elsewhere. Totally bummed ### 3/5 — Not too good; further testing required for a final opinion though. *2023-10-05* It seems like a good app but it’s a little slow and doesn’t really meet my needs. I’m running it on watchOS 10 on my Apple Watch Ultra and it works nowhere near as good as just a simple little snark tuner. I got what I paid for though, it has SOME tuning capabilities for its low price, paying 10x more for a snark tuner, you also get what you pay for. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-09-27, version 2.0.2* This didn’t work on my old watch and also doesn’t work on my brand new Ultra 2. It claims that microphone access can be enabled in the phone but since it is a watch only app, it has no phone controls available. When you play a note (or hum) obviously it detects the pitch. BUT I love the added feature that when you stop playing, it keeps showing you your last pitch played and its value. I'm seeing nothing but one star reviews recently, and they're all about issues downloading/redownloading. But the dev has answered all of them, yet they don't change their ratings. Give credit where credit's due, people. That’s why I love it, but if you loose it let me tell you how to get it back! Lay your iPhone down. Go to the App Store on your Apple Watch, scroll down to the bottom and tap on Account, then Purchased. Now tap My Purchases, then scroll to Tuner and tap on the download symbol and you will have this great app again on your Apple Watch! This is an App Store problem and not the developer. I did not figure this out. I contacted the developer and received these instructions in about 5 minutes! Wow! Thank you for an incredible experience sir! Oh, if you don’t have it, buy it. Incredibly good looking app, it has a really nice minimalist look. If I were an Apple Watch employee, I'd buy this app from the developer and include it on every watch. Just an incredibly elegant design. The only annoying part is that the app doesn't prevent the watch from turning the screen off, so I have to keep wiggling my arm. I'm using it on a 2023 Series 8 apple watch. ### 5/5 — So convenient *2021-10-17, version 1.0.2* This app has made it so convenient for tuning my daughters instruments. Having a tuner on my watch seems ten times easier than using my phone. Would be awesome if it had a feature to override the watches auto-powersave whenever you turn your wrist away. Slightly inconvenient having to tap the screen to bring the tuner back up every few seconds. Dunno if this is possible to get around. Otherwise a great app. Looks good.
