## What is Turban Photo Editor?

Turban Photo Editor app lets you place turbans from a list of 40+ turban styles on your face either by taking an image from the camera or importing one from your gallery. You can also adjust the turban on your face by adjusting the width and height of the turban to fit properly. You can try different curated turban styles to see which one looks best on you. In Punjab, there are many famous turban styles such as Patiala Shahi, Morni style, Diljit style, Nikku style, Gol turban, Parna, Malwayi style, Dumala style, Singh Sahib style, etc.

The turban, also known as Pagri, Safa, or Dastar, is a significant cultural symbol in India representing honor, pride, bravery, faith, and identity. Worn for centuries by kings, warriors, saints, and communities across the country, it has evolved into many regional styles such as the Punjabi Dastar, Rajasthani Pagri, Mysore Peta, Maharashtrian Pheta, Sikh Dumala, Safa of Rajasthan and Gujarat, Himachali topi, South Indian Thalappa, and Haryanvi Pagri, each reflecting local tradition, climate, and social identity.

Turbans are made from fabrics like full voile, rubia, malmal, and cotton blends, chosen based on comfort and occasion. Colors carry meaning—red and maroon symbolize love, white stands for peace and purity, orange and yellow represent happiness, blue signifies royalty, while black and navy reflect strength and grace. They are worn daily in some communities and are especially important at weddings, religious ceremonies, and festivals, often decorated with feathers or ornaments to symbolize honor. Today, the turban continues to represent cultural heritage while also inspiring modern fashion across India and beyond.
