But after putting in time, effort, and winning race after race, it became painfully clear: this was nothing more than a misleading gimmick. Nowhere in the game does it actually explain how or when this “trip to Japan” will be rewarded. There’s no event, no leaderboard prize, no terms and conditions, and no announcement after winning races. It’s just a flashy statement meant to lure players into downloading and playing the game. That’s false advertising. If this were a real contest, there would be clear details and transparency. Instead, the developers are banking on hype to get downloads without delivering what they promised. This kind of dishonesty ruins the trust between players and game creators. It’s not just disappointing—it’s misleading and unfair. Players, especially younger ones, may believe this is a real opportunity and feel tricked after putting in time and even money through in-app purchases. Game developers should be held accountable for advertising fake rewards just to boost their popularity. Until the creators of Turbo Stars address this and either remove the false claim or explain it clearly, I can’t recommend this game in good faith. Don’t fall for it.
