Work out the tip, add the tax, split it with the table — in seconds, in any currency. Turbo Tip is built for the thirty seconds you actually spend on a bill: the waiter is waiting, the table is talking, and you want the number to be right. THE BILL, DONE PROPERLY • Type the bill and read the tip and total straight away — no "calculate" button • Choose your tip with five taps or five stars, whichever you prefer • Set your own preset percentages so your usual tip is one tap away • Split the bill between everyone at the table • Round the tip or the total up or down, to the nearest unit or half TAX, WHEREVER YOU ARE Sales tax, VAT and GST for over 200 countries, states and provinces — and the rate we show is the one restaurants actually charge, which in much of Europe is lower than the headline rate. The “convert” function is not working and the developer didn’t reply to my help request. Just tried to contact them once more, we’ll see... UPDATE: still no help from the tech support after one month. Taking one star off. ### 4/5 — Versatile converter *2018-02-01, version 5.3* Great currency converter with advantage of calculating conversion with or without local tax, adding on tip at varying percentage and ability to then divide the bill between the number of people paying. Love it! Turbo Tip now also checks for your purchase on its own when it opens, so an upgrade bought on another device arrives without you having to ask for it. If something is not right, the Feedback link in Settings reaches us directly. ### 6.1 — 2026-08-08 This update fixes the per-person amount. Split shows the whole bill again — tip, tax and currency conversion included — divided by the number of people, as it did before 6.0. In 6.0 it was dividing only the tip. That was our mistake, and we are sorry for the confusion. Also fixed: switching Convert on could briefly show the previous currency's amounts under the new currency's symbol, until you touched a control. Thank you to the customer who wrote in about this. This is the first update in a long while, and it touches every screen. NOW IN 13 LANGUAGES Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish — including right-to-left layout for Arabic, and numbers written in your own digits. CURRENCY CONVERSION WORKS AGAIN The old exchange-rate service had stopped responding, which quietly broke conversion. Rates now come from a working source and refresh daily, and the currency list is searchable with your home currency pinned at the top.
