Love it! Just one glitch - the converted amount still shows symbol for the original currency rather than the conversion - but the calculation is still correct! ### 4/5 — Great App / not perfect yet. *2017-11-29* I like using this app very much, it has many nice features. I particularly like that you can save the check amount and tip each time you use it. Sometimes I like to see how much I spent on a certain night or day, with this app you can see the total bill and tip, great feature. ### 4/5 — O.K. *2014-04-07* Doesn't split the cost. (Split and total are the same). ### 4/5 — Very very usefull *2013-10-27, version 2.1.6* Simple & fast... what else? ### 4/5 — Great *2013-10-26* Useful ### 5/5 — Fantastish! *2013-10-24* Brill!, just what I was looking for!. I recommend for business's : ) ### 4/5 — Great!!! *2013-10-14, version 2.1.5* Great app I like it!!👍👌 ### 5/5 — Just what I was looking for *2013-09-29* What a great app. Calculate tip with tax easily and also the ability to split the bill. You find and set your tax rate, by state, in the top left menu. Great job on this app. ### 5/5 — Great look *2013-09-28, version 2.1.2* Simple with an iOS 7 theme to it. ### 5/5 — Great app *2013-09-24* Always using it ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Keeps crashing *2015-12-18, version 4.1.15* The app keeps crashing on start up on the ipad air 2. ### 1/5 — Turbo Bill *2015-05-24* After filling in the price, I hit Save, and the app crashes. Going back into the app and hitting Save works the 2nd time. ### 1/5 — make mistakes sometimes *2014-02-21* When you use those fancy functions, such as currency exchange or tax calculation, it makes mistakes. ### 1/5 — Ads? *2013-11-27, version 3.0.3* No ads for me. Deleted. ### 1/5 — Stop making the app worse *2013-11-27* Please stop messing with the app! It was a good app to begin with that I was excited to have, now your are just making it worse. You are tweaking things too much and make it uglier with every update. I'm going to delete it now. Very disappointed. ### 1/5 — Do not update! *2013-11-15* The original app was simple and well made. The UI in this update is ugly and contains ads! The developer is trying to mislead the user - Notice that the first and last pictures are not screenshots taken from an iphone 5/5s. They are taken from a smaller screen so as to hide the fact that there are actual ads contained on the larger version. Nice try dev. Your 1st app was simple. Not so with this one. Really, In app purchases? At least change the picture to show the ads so u don't misrepresent your product. ### 1/5 — Do not update!!! *2013-11-15* To the developer: Your original app was well made and simple. And now you want to put forth this update with a tacky UI and in app purchases?? Not to mention that there are ads!! Terrible. To everyone else: A word of caution: do not update!!! If you like the simplicity of the first app then stay away! ### 2/5 — Improvable *2019-01-29, version 5.3* Good idea but needs improvements. The “convert” function is not working and the developer didn’t reply to my help request. Just tried to contact them once more, we’ll see... UPDATE: still no help from the tech support after one month. Taking one star off. ### 2/5 — The new UI is a step back *2013-11-30, version 3.0.3* Can you PLEASE make a version that looks like the original Turbo Tip. It integrated well with iOS7. It would even be worth paying for if you would just leave the design alone. ### 2/5 — Don't like the update / no longer simple *2013-11-15* :-( ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Fantastic tip calculator *2017-12-12* I’m very happy that I was looking for a tip calculator to replace my old one (which is no longer support because it’s 32-bit). I love the simplicity of this app and the ability to accurately round up my tips. I also like how there is a guide to international gratuity. My only complaint is that I can’t find an easy way to support the developer and get no ads... ### 5/5 — Best Tip Calculator App *2016-07-27* I tried almost all of tip calculator app, and this one is my favorite. It has all the setting I need and simple interface. ### 5/5 — Love it *2016-06-02* Does my tipping well! ### 5/5 — Fab *2014-04-08* Great little app once I got my head around how to use. Perfect for my needs ### 5/5 — Great tipping App *2014-03-30* This has to be the best tipping application. It has all the features i need. ### 5/5 — Excellent *2014-01-27* It really helps. ### 5/5 — Turbo Bill *2013-12-11* Very useful app seems to work very well ### 5/5 — Highly, highly recommended!!! *2013-11-24* Amazingly detailed and perfect for splitting bills!!! Plus, it's aesthetically very clean looking and easy to navigate! Awesome job!! ;) ### 5/5 — Does what it says! *2013-10-28* A great app with a beautiful and crisp design. ### 5/5 — Works ok in the UK & EU *2013-10-25* Downloaded this app out of curiosity and am pleasantly surprised by its simplicity and iOS7 design. The seeded tax does not include UK or EU rates, but that is not surprising considering that the app is US centric, and does not detract from the purpose for which it is designed. Perhaps in a future update there could be the option to reverse the currency on the main page rather than having to go the settings. Eg. GBP to EUR to GBP . --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/). User reviews are verbatim App Store reviews.
