### 3/5 — Pdf mark ups

*2019-11-01, version 6.1.7*

Can you make mark ups on PDFs notes highlight circles arrows and send those notes to others?

### 3/5 — Seven dollars to remove ads? Really?

*2015-06-04, version 4.2.0*

That's more than most apps cost.

### 4/5 — you can view and draw notes only

*2014-08-08, version 3.5*

no way to draw measurements that are not already on the drawing.

### 4/5 — Was good till....

*2014-04-25, version 3.1*

...till you made viewing .stl files something I now have to pay $24 to use. F that!

### 5/5 — Good 2D, ok 3D

*2012-05-29, version 2.0.2*

Free version only supports DWG and DXF. Fast Cad viewer just wish it had more features like hidden/shade 3D. Very solid viewer.

### 2/5 — Cant open files

*2012-04-13, version 2.0.1*

Cannot open dwf file from dropbox. Also sample files are wire frame only.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2012-02-29, version 2.0.0*

One word. AWESOME

### 5/5 — Great but...

*2012-02-29, version 2.0.0*

please add a function to lock the view from rotation, allowing only pinch zoom and drag/grab. Great app though, works great! any hope for a civil 3d object enabler viewer?!

### 5/5 — Great app!!!

*2011-12-09, version 2.0.0*

I enjoy it!

### 2/5 — I can't see dwg file from email

*2011-11-24, version 1.1.0*

I can't see dwg file from email............

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2011-08-24, version 1.0.4*

I just downloaded a few . DWG's from my desktop using the AirShare app from Avatron, and I couldn't believe how well TurboViewer displayed them! The speeds are fantastic and the display movements are completely fluid, even with a very complex drawing. Thank you for this free version; I'm really looking forward to the Pro version, so I can see everything rendered realistically with shading. I hope it has support for the iPhone HDMI adapter so I can use it for presentations.

### 3/5 — Support for Sketchup Needed

*2011-08-12, version 1.0.4*

I could not locate a place to submit questions or comments elsewhere. Needs to support viewing of Google Sketchup 3D files, maybe even Visio 2D. Then, there would not be enough stars on which to rate the app!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Almost completely useless

*2019-08-12, version 6.1.7*

Only views tcws as-is. Can’t even select objects to get dimensions.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2016-04-23, version 4.2.3*

I could not do anything with this software. I think that you need to purchase the full version which is kind of expensive. Oh well, nothing's free but I am going to keep looking for an app that can view and edit DWG prints.

### 1/5 — This doesn't really do anything

*2014-10-01, version 4.0*

As far as I can tell this app doesn't read/view any files I might want it to. It just tells me to buy another version that works

### 1/5 — Arcs showing as straight lines for DXF

*2014-01-26, version 3.0.1*

Dxf files don't replicate correctly. Arcs don't seem to be supported... Any answers would be appreciated.

### 1/5 — ... And crashes again

*2014-01-18, version 3.0.1*

Paid for the x version to use as a viewer at job sites, but it keeps crashing and crashing again, please fix or refund my money

### 1/5 — Crashes, Won't Open Drawings

*2013-12-02, version 3.0.1*

Can't open 8.15 MB file or 9.3 MB map file. The app gets to 100% when opening and says that it is "vectorizing," and then is just closes. I have tried multiple DWG files and get the same result every time on multiple iPad 4's (all running iOS 7.0.3, and now iOS 7.0.4). I have also shut down all apps and tried opening the file, and the app still crashes. I have done a hard shutdown of the iPads and I still get the same crash when trying to open the file.

Contacted the developer who says I should be able to open a 24-30 MB file on an iPad 3 or 4.

Update: the developer provided some other 3D object files that are as large or larger than the file sizes I am trying to open. Those sample files open fine. After working with the developer, my assessment is that TurboViewer will work fine for objects that have a relatively small scale. My need is for viewing large 2D maps that cover several tens of square miles, and the app isn't able to open those files or render objects of that scale effectively. There is a noticeable lag when pinching/zooming/dragging my smaller map files that I am able to open in the app, but which is not present when dealing with the smaller scale 3D object files.

### 1/5 — Only open PDF files

*2013-09-03, version 2.1.2*

This app just do not open .dwg files. It is only to see the the files that came with the app.

### 1/5 — Not worth the download time

*2013-02-04, version 2.1.0*

Don't see any value in this app unless you want to see some pre-defined CAD drawings. There is absolutely no functionality in this app.

### 1/5 — Partial Load

*2011-06-24, version 1.2*

Only loaded some of the 3d model elements from mail attachment & Dropbox. Promising but unusable without complete model.

### 1/5 — Inbox failure.

*2011-06-21, version 1.2*

Does not open DWG from INBOX.
Transferred ok from mail program.
When touched to open from inbox of TurboViewer, program closed.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great for papercrafters

*2015-05-19, version 4.1.2*

Best .pdo viewer app.

### 5/5 — Thank You, IMSI

*2014-09-10, version 3.5*

I've been using TurboCAD for years and I was tired of printing CAD drawings and taking them to the shop to work on. Now I can take my iPad into the shop instead. Being able to zoom, spin, etc is all I needed and this is GREAT! So great I've plunked down the $6.99 for the X version --- not that I minded the banners but I really wanted to reward IMSI for a great app.

### 5/5 — Better thank Autodesk

*2014-09-10, version 3.5*

I use Buzzsaw for work on the daily. The Buzzsaw app does not always open dwiffs until you flush your cache. Turboviewer opens every time. Thanks

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2014-01-03, version 3.0.1*

I tried this app on my iPod 5, and it worked fantastically! It's for architecture nerds for sure, and it's really cool. Thank you for making this with no ads!
