## What is TurfWalk?

Every walk becomes an adventure.

TurfWalk turns your daily walks into a pixel RPG. Walk through your neighborhood with your buddy — and the route you trace becomes your turf on the map. Walk wider, claim more.

But leave your turf alone too long, and monsters appear and start to erode it. Walk back, patrol it, and keep it safe.

■ HOW TO PLAY
1. Choose your buddy — a cat or dog, each with unique stats.
2. Tap "Start Walk" and head outside.
3. Walk a closed loop. The area you enclose becomes your turf.
4. Patrol your turf to fend off monsters and grow buildings — flag, hut, house, castle.

■ YOUR BUDDY GROWS WITH YOU
Walking distance levels up your buddy from Kitten to Adult, with stronger stats. Twelve buddies in total — 6 cats and 6 dogs, each with their own personality and abilities (Bengal, Husky, Corgi, and more).

■ COLLECT CASTLE MEMORIAL CARDS
Keep walking the same area to upgrade buildings all the way to a castle. Each castle earns you a Memorial Card — 10 unique castle designs to collect.

- Using a territory HP potion now animates the HP bar so you can see exactly how much was restored.
- Merging territories now adds their HP together (previously only the higher value was kept).
- Leaderboard tenure now counts days at your current title, and resets when your rank changes.
- Clarified the short-range repellent spray's description to match its actual range.

### 3.0 — 2026-07-17

Territory shapes and areas have been reworked.

- Fixed merged territories being drawn larger than they actually were. They now match the route you walked.
- Smoothed out GPS jitter so territory outlines look cleaner.
- Combined overlapping territories in the same place into one, and recalculated areas so overlapping sections are no longer counted twice.

If your total area changes, the app explains why. Your walking records, territory levels, and evolution progress are unchanged.

### 2.9.2 — 2026-07-17

- Fixed an issue where the home screen could show a monster alert when no monsters were present. Alerts are now split into "monsters appeared" and "low HP", and territories protected by a ward are treated as safe.
- Walking a loop inside one of your existing territories now counts as a patrol (restoring HP) instead of creating a new overlapping territory.
- Other minor improvements.
