## What is Turkey Taxi Fare?

Know what a metered taxi in Turkey should cost before you get in, and check the taximeter while you ride.

AIRPORT FARES, OFFLINE
• 171 routes from 9 airports: Istanbul (IST and Sabiha Gökçen), Antalya, Gazipaşa-Alanya, Dalaman, Milas-Bodrum, İzmir, Kayseri and Nevşehir-Cappadocia
• The 2026 city taxi tariffs: start fee, price per km, minimum fare and, in Istanbul, the four taxi classes
• Bridge, tunnel and motorway tolls (Eurasia Tunnel, Bosphorus bridges, Göcek Tunnel, O-32 …)
• The return trip with the tariff of the place the taxi is based, which often differs
• Any other place: search a hotel or address, or drop a pin, and the app routes it with Apple Maps
• Day, evening or night: the range includes slow traffic, which Istanbul meters charge by the minute

LIVE METER CHECK
Start it when the taxi moves off. GPS distance × the city tariff shows what the taximeter should read now, including the "time instead of distance" rule in slow traffic. Tunnels and poor GPS are handled and flagged, it keeps measuring with the screen locked, and it compares the finished ride with the estimate. Tolls can be added with one tap; a Bosphorus crossing is detected. Not in Turkey yet? Try the demo ride.

TIPS THAT SAVE MONEY
How to pay, BiTaksi and İTaksi, fixed-price offers, the Dalaman cooperative price list, and how to avoid being overcharged.

HONEST DATA
Every result shows its tariff source and date. Only Istanbul and Kayseri are marked "official" (we hold the official tariff document); other cities say who reported the tariff. Tariffs change 2–3 times a year: the app checks for signed updates and keeps working offline.

PRIVATE
No account, no ads, no tracking. Your location is used only on your iPhone during a meter check you start (it keeps measuring with the screen locked and stops when the ride ends).

Estimates, not a fare quote: the taximeter, the route and traffic decide the real fare. Not affiliated with any taxi company, taxi app or municipality.
