### 2/5 — Can't access

*2024-03-25*

Bought the app a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Now it asks me to sign in, won't accept any attempted sign in, and won't even let me use the "forgot password" feature. I tried to just delete it and buy it again, and it still won't work.

**Developer response:** If you are still having trouble, please send an email to tayler@gotgametech.com and he’ll get you taken care of. We want to make sure you can access the app and all its content.

### 3/5 — Not great.

*2023-03-29*

1. Email and password required for use. Why on earth this app needs my email address and a login is beyond me. Might explain recent new junk mail though.

2. Forgot password and I am having trouble resetting. Password reset tab is not working.

3. Scott Ellis Turkey call videos on you tube more informative and free.

4. Only covers slate and diagram calls.

5. Overpriced.

6. I do like that I can play the calls on a loop. When I can log in that is.

**Developer response:** Send an email to tayler@gotgametech.com and we’d be happy to help with any login issues. Also, we don’t share your email address. You will hear from the Got Game Tech team from time to time, but you can always opt out. 👍

### 4/5 — Good information

*2020-05-13*

Very good but could use more information on setups and Turkey behavior. Was hoping it would be as good as the elk nut app. Still needs a little work.

### 5/5 — Great little app...

*2020-04-23, version 2.0.0*

Great app to listen to for all types of calling

### 5/5 — Wish I had this app years ago!

*2020-04-23, version 2.0.0*

I totally love this app for several reasons!... Not only is it super helpful to hear Scott’s calling compared to a live hen but the recording playback feature is a genius idea! To be able to hear myself after I call was an eye opener. My use with a diaphragm call has definitely improved since using this app. In addition to using these features check out Scott’s tutorials on YouTube for even more tips!
Good huntin’

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2020-04-23*

I just downloaded the app and as a new turkey hunter the knowledge is priceless! Not only having expert calling advice and instruction, but also recordings of live birds and a suggestion to record and listen to yourself on the app itself, it can’t get much better!

### 5/5 — Talkin Turkey

*2020-04-23*

The guys at Got Game Tech have hit it out of the park again with another great app. Teaming up with Scott Ellis for this turkey calling app is impressive. Scott teaches you each call that a turkey makes, what they mean and what you should use in each situation. He also gives you versions using a mouth call and a friction call. I got this app last year and practiced with it up till turkey season and I was able to call in a couple toms. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to connect on one last year but being able to talk to them and bring them into our set up from a ways away was pretty awesome. This year I was able to call in a nice tom for my wife. The tactics worked great and helped us tag out in Michigan for 2020.

### 4/5 — Great app with lots of tips

*2020-04-21*

I had one minor bug with app but it works fine now. The call sound bites with calls are great to practice and the Tips for each type of call are very helpful. Haven’t gotten into the sequences yet, but i’m looking forward to learning more with that.

**Developer response:** Thanks for alerting us to this issue. That’s the first we’ve heard of this happening to anyone, so we’d like to get the app working 100% for you. Please send an email to tayler@gotgametech.com and we’ll get things squared away.

### 5/5 — Outstanding

*2020-04-19, version 2.0.0*

I have been turkey hunting for almost 10 years (I’m 21 years old) and i consider myself a pretty advanced caller. Obviously I’m not even close to as advanced as Scott Ellis is lol 😂, but this app is ideal for hunters who want to take their calling to the to the next level. He gives examples of every call a wild turkey produces, and has recordings of him making each call with both mouth calls and friction calls. There is also recordings of actual live hens making the calls in the wild. In addition to that, he has videos of him explaining how to produce the calls and why a turkey would do it. My favorite aspect about this app is that you can record yourself making the call and can play it back, and then compare it to the recordings of him calling, or the actual live hen. Practice practice practice! Not only turkey, he also explains locator calls such as a crow and owl. Overall, whether you’re new to turkey hunting or advanced, Scott Ellis will assist you in taking your calling skills to a whole other level.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the great review! It’s clear you know the app well.

### 5/5 — Great APP

*2020-04-13, version 2.0.0*

Great APP! Video demonstrations are well put together and content is very useful.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Sign up or log in

*2025-03-27, version 2.1*

I have been trying to log in for a month now. I never received an email back for email verification.

### 1/5 — App is robbery

*2024-04-15, version 2.1*

Everything presented here is available for free. Actually thought there’d be some useful information. This is a blight on Woodhaven’s reputation in my personal opinion. I hope my $5 was worth it.

### 1/5 — Works good but support has not answered!

*2024-03-29, version 2.1*

I bought this app on 2/25/21, and have used it pre-season to practice up. This year I went to open it and let my new turkey hunter sone practice up, and cannot login. I emailed the developer twice and have not gotten any response, I even checked my spam folder. If the developer would respond, I’d love to rate it higher!

Updated again…still no response to a couple of emails to the developer. I’ve been locked out and account not recognized, after purchasing it. Not good service and unless something changes I would avoid this one.

### 1/5 — Crap

*2023-05-06*

Bought this app less than a year ago and now won’t let me login. It says no user under those credentials or user may have been deleted. The forgot your password button doesn’t work either. Don’t waste your money

**Developer response:** Send an email to tayler@gotgametech.com and we’ll help get you in. Sorry for the trouble. The app is due for dome updates, and we hope to get it dialed in again soon.

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2023-02-15, version 2.1*

Like another 1 star reviewer, I’ve seen various videos by Scott on YouTube and downloaded the app based on the fact that I was impressed by them, yet am disappointed in the lack of content. Similar to that reviewer, I feel like I could’ve just found much of this content on YouTube. Nothing really in depth or special from Scott. I’m also disappointed that there’s a sequencing tab yet just a “coming soon” reference. From reading the reviews, it sounds like that’s probably been on it for awhile; it remains to be seen if they’ll ever update the content. Also, from reading prior reviews it sounds like there used to be a recording feature that I don’t see on my app. Not sure what the deal is with this; maybe they’re just not going to fully build it out

### 1/5 — JUNK

*2022-11-29, version 2.0.3*

Absolute Junk…….it won’t even open.

### 1/5 — App was blank on iPhone

*2022-11-24, version 2.0.3*

Nothing on app

### 1/5 — Is this app still active?

*2022-11-23, version 2.0.3*

I bought this app and all the tabs are blank with just the leaf Camo background and no videos??

### 1/5 — New to turkey hunting

*2021-04-29, version 2.0.3*

I usually don’t write reviews but has a new turkey hunter I was searching for something to help me train with how to videos. Seen Scott on a few YouTube videos and I think he knows his stuff. He kept recommending this app. So I purchased the app and the how to videos are not really in depth. You can get more out of searching YouTube for free. I do like the audio of how each call should sound and the ability to record yourself. You can record yourself for free on your phone and compare to the sounds you fine on the internet.

### 1/5 — No video

*2020-04-18, version 2.0.0*

I spent $5 on this app mainly to watch the videos & learn how the turkeys reacted towards the call. Instead of the video downloading automatically I’ve let my phone download for over an hour & it never does end up downloading. I’ve yet to be able to watch a video

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Old Hunter or New Hunter You Will Learn

*2020-09-13*

Great audios and the videos are 1st rate. Learn, practice, refine; it’s all in this app. Must have for a serious or novice turkey hunter.

### 5/5 — Just what the doctor ordered!

*2020-05-13*

Tons of great info packed into a small package! Great to have in the field to think through various scenarios.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2020-05-08*

Always wanted to get better with my mouth calls, and this app does the trick. Love the explanations by Scott, really shows how to hit those realistic notes. Only wish it had more content!

### 5/5 — More than worth it

*2020-04-25, version 2.0.0*

Well worth the $ even though I’ve been turkey hunting for more than 30 years, and have killed more turkeys than years hunted.

The sequence portion of the app helps give a better understanding of what calls fit the same mood ol’ Tom is in, and how to strategize your calling to fit that mood.

Combining calls the right way makes the difference between luring and spooking any bird, but especially call shy birds.

Turkeys are social critters and you’ll lose the excuse of “they’re call shy right now”, “they must be done breeding already” or even “they must be henned up.”

Lose the excuses for less than $5. Seriously.

### 5/5 — Turkey tech app

*2020-04-24, version 2.0.0*

Love my turkey tech app! Scott Ellis is great and explains it all. It’s been so useful to me!

### 5/5 — Fantastic App

*2020-04-24*

I already owned the Elk Nut app and it has been super helpful so I figured since I’m going on my first turkey hunt this year I’d better download the turkey tech app too! Within 10 minutes of downloading and watching some of Scott’s videos I was already getting the yelp down. It’s easy to use and navigate, so much so I went ahead and bought the duck tech app as well!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the great review! Can you please send an email to tayler@gotgametech.com?

### 5/5 — Awesome information

*2020-04-24*

I myself am new to turkey hunting and this app has been fantastic in learning the proper sounds and sequences of calls to use in different situations. I recently showed it to a coworker who has been calling turkeys for years, he immediately downloaded it also saying even he could use some refresher practice and liked the way it was presented here. Most definitely worth the price, don’t regret this app purchase at all and you won’t either.

### 5/5 — Does just what you expect....

*2020-04-24*

Want to improve your calling skills? want to be more successful? This is the app to help you get there.

### 5/5 — Fantastic app

*2020-04-23*

If you want to become an efficient caller to fire up those birds and get them going... then this is the app you need! Or just keep on scratching away with your $15 box call and wonder why it doesn’t happen for you.

### 5/5 — Turkey talkin!

*2020-04-23*

This app is great! I am an avid turkey hunter of 30 years. I am by no means a competition caller but I do harvest turkeys every year from my own calling techniques. I recently downloaded this app before Turkey season opened here in Tennessee. Both me and my son watched and were practicing along with Scott’s calling videos. I was able to up my calling abilities within a couple of days after downloading the app. My son was able to learn a lot from watching the diaphragm videos. Needless to say this app has upped our game in a big way. We downed 3 birds on the first 3 trips out hunting this season. I would highly recommend this app to all hunters no matter what your experience level is. From a beginner to a seasoned caller, you will benefit from watching and practicing along with the very informative videos in this app! 5 stars all day!!!!

Best regards, Yellow_Jacket_Reload
