## What is Turkish Ahora?

Have you always wanted to learn Turkish but found that every app stops at "hello" and "thank you"?

Turkish Ahora is a complete Turkish course that takes you from the alphabet to real conversations — from beginner (A1) all the way to upper-intermediate (B2). Built and taught by a native Turkish speaker, with audio recorded by native speakers.

A COMPLETE COURSE: A1 → B2

• 400 lessons in a fixed order, with an exam at the end of every unit
• Start with the Turkish alphabet and your first greetings; finish talking about travel, technology, work and life in Turkey
• Short lessons: five minutes a day is real progress
• Not a beginner? Take the placement test and jump straight to your level

MANY WAYS TO PRACTICE

• Match the pairs, listen and choose, fill in the blank, put the sentence in order
• Type the answer with no options — the exercise that really makes vocabulary stick
• Dictation: listen and write what you hear
• Vocabulary flashcards with native-speaker audio

SPEAK TURKISH, DON'T JUST TAP BUTTONS

• Record yourself and get AI feedback on your pronunciation
• Hold voice conversations with characters: order at a restaurant, see a doctor, rent an apartment
• Write in Turkish and get corrections with clear explanations

READ AND HEAR REAL TURKISH

• Turkish stories where every word is tappable: tap it and the meaning appears
• Turkish songs where you fill in the lyrics as you listen
• Everything recorded by native speakers, not a robotic voice

1:1 PRIVATE CLASSES

Want to talk to a real person? Book Zoom classes with a native Turkish teacher right from the app, at a time that suits you.

STAY MOTIVATED

• Daily streaks and reminders
• Weekly and monthly leaderboards
• Earn liras (₺) as you learn and spend them in the Çarşı on Istanbul-themed titles, frames and avatars

ALSO FOR BLIND LEARNERS

A complete edition for blind learners switches on by itself with VoiceOver: the same course, the same progress, the same stars.

Start free: the first 15 lessons and a selection of stories, songs and flashcards are open to everyone. Premium unlocks the full course and the AI practice.

Learn Turkish at your own pace and get to your first real conversation.

### 1.6.12 — 2026-10-03

Four new units in the Expert level (B2)!
• Music: instruments, the song “Üsküdar’a Gider İken” and fixed words like okur yazar, görülesi and gelecek.
• Cybersecurity: a real deepfake scam and the causative voice (kestirdim, yaptırır).
• Curious news from around the world: -DIğI için / -DIğIndAn with a Turkish newscast.
• Culture and art: sanki, artık and bile, with Osman Hamdi Bey and Naim Süleymanoğlu.
Plus new exams for the B2 units.

### 1.6.11 — 2026-10-01

Starting Turkish is now easier and faster!

• The free lessons in Units 1 and 2 are shorter and lighter.
• Less typing at the start: many questions let you pick the answer or build the sentence with tiles.
• Can’t listen right now? Skip the dictation without losing points.
• The Unit 2 exam now reviews everything you’ve learned.
• New Turkish audio in several lessons.

### 1.6.10 — 2026-09-30

Less typing, more practice: in long suffix worksheets you now pick the correct form instead of typing it. And if you leave a lesson halfway, you pick up right where you left off.
