IAA recording into AudioShare is still the most direct way to insert FX into a channel strip and tweak on the fly. So easy to use and I've been on it for about three hours solid after downloading, just messing about on AUM with a preset from Sunvox coming through it on loop. There's so much to do to the sounds that it's impossible to stop playing with it, and I haven't even begun to see what I can do with it in a chain yet. The only downside is that I've spent my app allowance for the week and after playing with this I want Cyclops, and I want it NOW! Buy it, buy it, buy it and oh lordy, I forgot I haven't even plugged my guitar in yet! Bye... ### 5/5 — Amo turnado! *2017-07-08, version 1.3.5* Es lo mismo que la al efecto de escritorio. They should really allow iPad 3 or older users to download the older version. ### 1/5 — Used to be my favorite *2018-10-05, version 1.5.3* This used to be my favorite app for effects and manipulating tracks in IOS, now that it has dropped IAA my workflow has had to rearrange, IOS music has been changing too frequently between updates and bug fixes to unexplained interactivity being removed, it is too volatile to maintain a creative flow. The only thing they do consistently is crash...without fail. I could understand if I was using an older device, but I'm not. They are ALL unstable, buggy hunks of overpriced crap that crash before their potential is realized. Until you do, not only will I continue to write scathing reviews of your products, I also make it a point to reference how bad your apps DO NOT WORK in every app I review from other developers. It is criminal to charge this much for a product that doesn't work. When I do a search it says it's in a folder called "Top Hit". I don't have such a folder. Deleting till their app installs correctly. One of the best apps out there. ### 5/5 — This company is simply brilliant *2020-08-27, version 1.5.8* Every single one of their apps whether it be a synth, a Groovebox or an effects unit - all are original and staggeringly great fun. I’d actually go as far to say Turnado is even more fun with a touchpad - on my 12.9” iPad Pro screen, being able to control 8 pre set up effects, exactly how you want them to sound, with just 4 fingers is extremely intuitive and extremely deep. There’s so so much to this app than the already immense effects u it you first discover. Once you really get under the hood and start tinkering with each individual effects parameters to eventually get each one set up to be perfectly controlled with just one turn of a knob is done really well. I love this company - and with each new app or VST/VSTi they develop comes something totally new, totally original and great fun to use. Great fun yet very useable in live sets and in the studio as serious tools. Just get it. I have more fun using my live decks routed through Turnado than I do using my hardware Pioneer RMX-1000 fx unit. And it costs roughly £480 more !! Amazing job with this one guys. Sugar Bytes are now kicking the ass out of the mobile device app market in the same way as they conquered the VST plugin market. Not often do you get a company who consistently releases amazing programs or apps - there’s usually one or two absolute howlers they’d rather you forget - but not Sugar Bytes. Nope - everything they’ve done is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. As for value for money - damn, Id pay many times over the asking price for some of their apps. The most expensive being the likes of the Egoist groovebox - but again it’s worth every penny of the 28 quid. Highly reccomended. ### 5/5 — Wish I’d found this sooner *2020-01-01, version 1.5.5* This plugin does a better job than a whole load of dedicated plugins that I already own at basics like flanging, chorus and delay, but also does a million extra things that none of the others can do. It’s incredible. ### 5/5 — More than just intricate inebriated audio *2019-11-26, version 1.5.4* It is easy to overlook the fact that this can be used for some fairly tame audio processing effects without having to fully inebriate the original. Of course if you are looking for a subtle/simple delay, compressor, filter, etc. or combination of common subtle/simple track effects you probably aren’t going to immediately reach for the Turnado, but you can. And since you have you might as well go down the rabbit hole and see where you end up. One thing I would love is to have control that would isolate certain modules so that they could be turned on/off globally, maintained even as saved and preset patches are changed. I suppose this already exists in a way, but there are times when I move on the fly between patches during a live broadcast and inadvertently hit a patch with a vocoder setting that causes a momentary, yet complete and non transparent fiasco that exposes me as a fraud that’s using Turnado ... disengaging certain modules globally that I know I’m not going to use and that I don’t want causing any more mayhem than I’m already creating intentionally. Just an idea/suggestion that would make it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫+🌪 ### 5/5 — Jam Packed With Goodies *2019-03-19, version 1.5.4* First off I love that this is AUv3 which makes work flow a breeze, also this plugin is easy to get lost in with all the features and parameters you can tweak. Plus it is merely a fraction of what you would pay for a desktop version. The creative possibilities for multiple genres not simply EDM etc...are exciting and inspiring with the XY features and 8 effects simultaneously. Great Job Sugar Bytes! ### 5/5 — Truly unbelievable *2018-12-25, version 1.5.4* I’ve been using this for years in VST form and all I can really say is that it is probably the best iPad audio app there is and I’ve used dozens if not hundreds of them. Throw something like Elastic Drums into this through Audiobus and you have an infinite high quality glitch/mangled/experimental loop generator at your disposal. ### 5/5 — Just buy it... *2018-11-18, version 1.5.4* I bought this a few years ago.
