Consistently says, "Interrupted" Very annoying. ### 2/5 — Not accurate *2019-11-22, version 1.0.1* I have a SOTA total eclipse which includes a speed control and a tachometer. When the tach had a reading of 33.334, which would fluctuate a bit, the app put it as 33.4. I could understand if it was rounding off 33.35 or greater to 33.4, but it should’ve rounded this down to 33.3. I wouldn’t trust it. ### 4/5 — Does as states *2019-07-18* I have used this app to check on my Sony turntable with good results. There were a few times it gained to produce results, but I don’t know why. At any rate, I simply tried again and it worked fine. I definitely recommend starting it, measuring, making the adjustment, stopping the turntable entirely, then measuring again. Very Precise and Accurate. *2018-12-30, version 1.0.1* I used another RPM app to measure the RPMs of my calibrated, very high end, 1980s direct drive turntable. It measured it at 33.40 even though I know for sure it is exactly 33.33 (It was recently serviced by a professional that checked it). This app measured the RPM at 33.33. My other brand new, belt driven, turntable measured 33.39 using the other app. This app measures it as 33.32. I tweaked the power supply by one click which = 0.01 RPM and this app now measures it as 33.33 with occasional jumps to 33.34. Both apps are very precise with their measurements but this app is precise AND accurate. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this app to calibrate the speed of my turntable. Well worth the price! ### 4/5 — no 78rpm *2018-07-21* needs 78rpm mode. otherwise good ### 5/5 — Great tool for anyone that repairs and restores turntables! *2018-07-20, version 1.0.1* As I repair and refurbish vintage turntables, sometimes there are situations when I can’t use my trusty strobe. This app really came in handy. However, I do wish that this app could support 8 RPM, 16⅔ RPM and 78 RPM, as many vintage record players were typically 3 or 4-speed (33/45/78 or 16/33/45/78), and then you have the Library of Congress Talking Book record players which typically played at 8 RPM or 16 ⅔ RPM. If support for 8, 16 ⅔ and 78 RPM could be added, this can be come the ultimate tool for anyone that repairs and restores vintage turntables of all kinds, as well as being able to adjust the 78 RPM speed on many modern 3-speed turntables! ### 5/5 — One of the coolest apps in the market *2018-03-08* Finally I could fine tune my audio-technica at-lp 1240. It is a very handy and accurate tool for turntable and vinyl fans. Thanks for this great app. ### 4/5 — It works. *2017-10-10* Be careful when using this on an iPad. On a phone, it’s ok. The phone is small enough to lay flat on the platter. My iPad however, had to be carefully laid against the spindle to fit and avoid hitting the tone arm and I had to watch it didn’t slip on my acrylic platter. I got 33.5 on my Pro-Ject Debut Carbon. That’s good enough for me. I would have preferred it to be priced at £1 max, though. ### 2/5 — Useful but needs 64 bit support for iOS 11 *2017-09-02* Love this utility but I'll lose it when upgrading to iOS 11. Emailed the developer but didn't receive a response. Beware that if you purchase it today it may only work for another few months if you upgrade unless the developer updates it. ### 5/5 — It worked! *2017-04-02* Had not been using my turntable because the speed was off. Key of G was somewhere between G and G#. After finding speed adjustment on turntable the problem was not knowing when adjustment gave correct speed. Purchased this app and simply put smart phone down on turntable watched the speed readout in realtime. Pretty cool that the speed reading changed angular position on the phone display so that you could read it as it was spinning.
