Topics such as PEM, Dysautonomia and pacing are addressed, as well as many other searchable tags. Patients upload reviews and resources to share directly with others on this journey. Links to research studies are provided, along with short summaries. Having cognitive impairment., I appreciate the balance between simplicity and detail. Each post is savable. Most importantly, the app is interactional and allows patients to comment on their experiences. Did I say free? I haven’t been able to read a drop for 4 days. ### 1/5 — Data harvesting privacy breach waiting to happen. *2023-12-23, version 1.13.39* Do NOT use this app. They are using this app to build datasets and (likely) monetize the sale of these datasets down the road. Not only do they request a lot of data they absolutely do not need to build a community, but their privacy policy is outright abysmal; this is ethically questionable at best and outright exploitation at worst. ### 2/5 — Could be better *2024-12-10, version 1.30.61* After a few months use, sorry to say haven’t really found anything truly pleasant about the Turnto user experience. Wonderful idea and effort but find the app more unsettling than beneficial. Wonky layout also doesn’t help (iPad). Video post “screens” are super zoomed in and too much “in your face”. (Perhaps appearance and user experience is more pleasurable on smaller iphone screens?) For this user, much of the presentation seems to create more discomfort and frustration and anxiety than proving helpful or comforting.
