So they’re cool because they don’t take a major credit card however, even if you don’t give them permission to withdraw money from your account, they’re gonna go into your account and take money out therefore making you in the negative and you just have to deal with it no matter how negative it is so that’s what’s not cool about it. They just do what they want with your bank account.

Turo is a good idea poorly executed. Any renter is on the hook for any damages that the owner claim claims. The car we rented had tires that slowly lost air during our rental period. We reflected this in their review. The owner upon seeing falsely claimed damage to the car in a retaliatory effort to extract money. Turo cited with the owner, despite no evidence of damage. Do not waste your time risking a rental with Turo. Customer service was useless in disputing the claim.

There needs to be a way to contact the host prior to making a booking. Had I been able to connect with the Host before booking my last car, I would have save a lot of time and unnecessary money! Please allow connections with the host prior to booking or make it more obvious if that already exists.
