Not sure if it’s just me but whenever I watch the videos. There is no audio with them.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the report but there are no apparent problems on the audio of the videos. Make sure you don't have the mute button on or try turning up the volume during playback. Changed app settings to US units. Can view in US units, but prints in Metric units. Could use more recipes, but what is there is of a good variety and contain easy-to-understand instructions.

意国中部出好酒也出美食。Two Greedy Italians《贪嘴意大利》里的老大爷也说了，托斯卡纳的美食精髓就蕴藏在无数主妇妈妈们的私房菜谱里面。目前来看，这个app是唯一一个专注托斯卡纳美食尤其是不那么广为人知而又比较纯正的本地风味的工具了。

先用的是中文版，发现译误太影响接受信息，换成了英文版，顺便给开发者写了信提建议。很快收到了Alessandro的回复，致歉并接受意见。感觉作者团队还是很有诚意的。期待看到更好的版本。keep going！

This is a really good app if you want allot of Italian recipes. There are allot of in app purchases but this app offers quite a bit for free.

A nice looking app with some great food ideas, with detailed instructions and the option to add ingredients to your shopping cart. The pro version was too expensive for me, so I'll stick with this free one.

I downloaded the free one first on my phone and finding out that I like it, I paid for the pro thinking that the paid one would also be in my iPad which I use more for following the recipes.
However, the only one I got was the free one with all the ads.
Do I have to pay again to have it on my IPad?  How annoying is this?  Money does not grow in trees!  Therefore, I give 1 star only.

**Developer response:** You have not to pay twice if you have the same Apple Account on your iPad. You can simply go to the preferences of Tuscan Chef app into "In app purchase" section and click on "Restore". It is really sad to leave one star without having tried to understand the problem or ask for assistance first.

After seeing their base recipe for pasta used white flour, I can’t give this app many stars. Italians use semolina or chickpea flour. White flour is for egg noodles. It’s also the popular recipe in the US for pasta. If they can’t tell me how to make real Italian pasta how can they tell me how to make anything the way real Italians do? Pass on this app.

All I can see (without spending for the upgrade) are the recipe cards. The moment I click a card to view ANY recipe, I get an “Upgrade to Pro” notification. Every.  Single. Time. 

I don’t think I want to chance my $8.99 on just pictures.

If you want to waste your money then this is the app for you. Just take a look at the starters, it really is "how to put stuff on bread" for the most part. Nip on Amazon and look for an Italian Recipe book and save yourself a bit of money. This really is someone with no scruples trying to rip off as many people as possible. Beware!!

Great, easy to understand recipes but after a few minutes scanning recipes the app requires you to upgrade before going further.

The recipes are pretty good, but it really blocks you from moving between recipes and keeps dumping you into the advertisement for buying the upgrade. I’m not gonna buy the upgrade until I’m able to access the recipes. Also, after you look at the first recipe the next 20 loads extremely slowly if at all

I don't want to be mean to this guy, but let's face it. This is very amateurish work with very few recipes and even those are poorly written.

This site has possibilities, but there are too few recipes for the cost.  I am 100% Tuscan Italian and a lot of the traditional recipes are missing.  It could be a good site but not for the price in its current limited recipes.  

I agree with this and am also 100% Tuscan Italian.  Very, very limited recipes.  Hard website to use.

Have tried many of the recipes. Easy to follow and are right from Tuscany. It is a great recipe book with videos. I bought the ad free version and it costs less than a cookbook. Awesome!

There's a lot more perspective and context here than most cookbooks, which is the most important part. We're just back from our second trip to the region and I'm finding details in this app on fishes we've recently cooked and eaten I haven't seen elsewhere. I don't think a similarly detailed cooking app exists.

Great easy to navigate app. Nicely translated to English.  Such great quality authentic recipes.  We had cooking lessons in Tuscany through Alessandro and the Tuscan chef and are excited to continue this at home in Australia.  I just made the Tuscan Apple Pie and it was great, a hit!
