I have come up on, twice now, where I reached the end of the line; either they ran out of boards to play or the story line stopped, even though they seem to have a storyline direction and rooms/areas grayed out that are in need of fixing. It makes no sense to me why it stopped. Granted, I am on level 2000+, so if you are just getting started, I would give this game 5 stars. The events allow you to earn extra power ups and lives. I have spent some money on this game, but you definitely do not have to to progress. ### 3/5 — Hit the end of the game *2023-02-01, version 1.32.2* I love this game, but it kept freezing up and I would lose the rewards that I had earned. I hit level 2485. I go to decorate and it says end of season one. You can’t go any further. The offer is to play season one all over again. I don’t want to. I kept hoping to finish decorating more rooms. I would have liked some more conclusions in the story. I really enjoyed the story, but disappointed some of the characters never came back. There is so much potential to expand in this game. I hope the game maker expands this game to a season two and have a lot more to decorate. This is the most enjoyable game I’ve played so far. ### 4/5 — Ready For Season 2 PLEASE! *2022-11-02, version 1.31* This has been absolutely my favorite game to play! Love the puzzles, free bonuses, decorating/renovating, and the storyline. One year later, at Level 3603, renovating the Greenhouse…Oliver’s return and then…with no warning…Season 1 has ended and with no indication of when or IF Season 2 will start. With so much still to accomplish, and so many areas of the Hotel still in gray, PLEASE tell me this is not the end of the whole game? I appreciate still being able to play puzzles and accumulate coins, but can’t do anything with them. Please update your fans and let us know if we’ll be able to continue soon. P.S. Was not a fan of the 2 to 3 days of the Match tournaments that gave no coins to continue renovating. I would …like many others like to be able to store free time given. I am often up in the middle of the night and pull this game up to kill some time. Always end up with 3 hours of free time…but yeah…might be playing for maybe 30 min or so…as it’s like 2 AM Also come on guys… the number of stars to do each task should be reflective of the task but also consistent. I HATE the stupid picture taking…I mean come on …why? Can’t even see them afterwards? And it might take 2 stars to build a building but to place bar stools…it’s 4? Really? And if it’s a “hard” level we should get 2 stars right? I mean it’s a hard level and we are getting nothing extra to complete? Love the game but frustrating ### 4/5 — Fun Game… Slow to Add Content *2022-07-30, version 1.28.2* I have been playing this game for a few months. I enjoy the puzzles - the graphics are much more pleasing than most other games. My kids love the story and helping to choose the decorations. I am at a level now that I am waiting for more content to be added, which means I get thrown into tournament play that lasts nearly a week at a time, I can’t earn any more stars during tournament play, and I don’t spend enough time playing to actually benefit from being in the tournament. When regular play resumes, the levels are difficult enough that I run out of lives before I can pass a level to earn one star. And now the story takes 4-5 stars to advance in each segment. The difficulty of play just restricts the length of time that I play because I run out of lives quickly and have to wait 20 minutes for one life to be restored. So, I close the app and do something else until I decide to play late in the evening or the next day. The last time I waited for new content to be added, I waited for about a month or longer. I would enjoy new content sooner and if it were slightly easier to gain stars and advance the story without having to pay to do so. I just close the game when I feel like I have to buy my way to more lives. ### 3/5 — Download if you like waiting! *2022-05-22, version 1.26.1* If you’re looking for a game that keeps you challenged, this could be for you. If you like decorating, then this I could be the game for you. If you like interesting story plots, this could very well be the game for you. However, if you like consistency when it comes to the number of stars needed for the same task, this isn’t the game for you. If you like story plots that don’t go on too long, this might not be the game for you. If you like games that constantly use little tricks to make you spend money & never give you anything extra in return, this also may not be the game for you. If you like to pick up your phone or tablet to play and find that you’ll have to play just for the sake of playing because the developers aren’t putting up events fast enough then this is most certainly is NOT the game for you! I said all of that, and still I have to say, I am addicted to the game. I was recently off from work for 7 months due to having back surgery and this was my life. I returned to work a week ago. I spent money like crazy while playing this game. I’ve played and still play others and have gotten all types of freebies due to the money that I’ve spent. The thing is I never had to sit around and wait for content either. This is a first for me, maybe others have experienced it. It’s frustrating though, very frustrating, especially when this is what I play to get rid of frustration. ### 3/5 — Allow saved bonuses! *2022-05-01, version 1.25.51* I really enjoy playing Tuscany Villa when I can, but unless you have a potential 2 hour window, you may lose out on the surprise timed infinity play bonuses. If you could bank your bonuses and use them when you have time, that would be wonderful and I would definitely play more often. I also enjoy June’s Journey. Like this game, you build, progress and enjoy the story. However, June’s Journey allows you to bank your energies and bonuses so you can play whenever you have time throughout the day. Tuscany Villa developers, please allow us to save the much appreciated timed infinity play bonuses! But nooooo it started from the very beginning, which really upset me after all the money I’ve spent on this game but I played back up to 89 and I’m frozen out again and after five days I continue to be frozen out. I play two other games that I love so I guess I’ll have to continue with those. I do intend to let others know what’s happening so they don’t get taken like I have been. Too many forced purchased levels, and too many levels requiring to place flowers. TOO many hard levels just to place flowers. I have played over 1,000 levels and only one room in the hotel has been furnished and only one guest has stayed. Is this a hotel or a botanical garden? Let the game progress without putting flowers all over every structure, on the grounds, the walls, in the building, stairs, my knuckles, it’s ridiculous. I am about un-download it. I am not spending all this money to put flowers on a game, when my actual yard needs landscaping. I will just play for free til I get stuck too long on a level I can’t pass, then un-download it. ### 3/5 — Unhappy golden ticket purchase *2022-02-13, version 1.23* Would love to give this game a 5 star review. Unfortunately I will not, due to latest golden ticket purchase. Bought the sundress golden ticket like 5 days ago and I still haven’t been able to activate it. Went through game developers and apple to try at first to get it activated, and of course with NO luck on either end. Now I’m trying to get my money back but keep getting the “something went wrong, try again later” message for the past few days. Contacted apple and game developers again…. Nothing! So easy to take my money but sooo hard to get it back. And this was my first time ever purchasing anything from a game. And I’ve been playing this game forever. What a shame. If I didn’t like playing the game so much, I would delete it. ### 3/5 — REALLY?! *2022-02-09, version 1.23* I’m super frustrated, because I keep playing levels, and it’ll come down to needing just one more move, to finish the level, but I am at zero/no more moves. This has happened at least 50 times, considering how many times I play each level. I just cleared level 600, and I really like the structure of how the pieces move, unlike any of the other matching games, especially how you can move power ups around the board without activating them. But there are other times where you really do need to go into the game with power ups, which means you have to spend money, in order to clear the levels. I’m getting really frustrated. I’m almost ready to toss the game, and not play it anymore. It’s very manipulative, and very sneaky, to require your players to buy power ups before you head into a challenging level. And don’t try to say that this isn’t happening, because it is! Just because I don’t have power-ups, going into a challenging level, doesn’t mean I have to be punished, and required to play a level 15 times (for example), to meet the goals of that level. Meanwhile, everyone who spends money to play this game, and is able to go into levels with power ups, they’re being rewarded by not having to play a level as many times in order to meet the goals. I know this because I’ve had to buy power ups to clear certain levels. I don’t want to play the same board 15+ times! SUPER FRUSTRATING!! ### 5/5 — Fun and peaceful after a rough day. *2021-11-16, version 1.20.51* I play a lot of match-3 games. This game is excellent because it #1. doesn’t guilt you into spending. #2. The main characters are nice to each other and facial expressions on the lead are encouraging when you can’t solve a puzzle. #3. the puzzles are difficult, but not so you rage-delete the app. #4. The furniture choices are believable. One app,(I no longer play) gave choices that no sane person would live with, and it was frustrating to work hard for a Crap result. Lots of other good things to say, try it. ;) I even don’t mind the music! ### 3/5 — Good game, but glitches kinda takes the fun out of it *2021-11-08, version 1.20.3* I have been playing this game for a while, and I love it however… I’ve been on the same level (that I’ve actually beaten three times) because when I get to the end the game freezes up. When I try to restart it, it restarts me from the beginning. At one point I had even use some of my special help (that I paid for) and end up losing it, even though I won the game. After that I lost interest, so I don’t play it as much as I used to. Every once in a blue moon I’ll go back to see if the glitch is gone. It’s still a good game they just need to fix the glitches so it’ll be a fun good game. 👍🏿 I ended up deleting the game because the glitch would not let me go any further. The only reason I will not give it a five rating is because it is a MONEY PIT! When you get to high levels like the 700’s you can hardly make a game without paying real money for 5 measly tries!!! The game has become predictable the helps (bees, bombs, torpedos, or twisters, hardly show up until you are just about out and you have one or two left and they never show up where you can use them then the human physic kicks in and says “awe I am so close” and that is how you get people to “buy”. Because I have spent hundreds of dollars on this game and refuse quit playing and to buy any more and now I just studying how this game works and you eventually let me win that game after a couple of days!!! The developers just released a new version of this app that appears to have gone backwards with its latest graphics and icon appearances that are now made more like a cartoon with the design being extremely basic which is great for young children but not for adults. Maybe 2 versions of the app should be considered to enhance the app experience for older players as well. Updated response: the developers responded and said that the new graphics change is supposed to increase accessibility for all players and that they will now start monitoring all my comments. I purchase game stuff on a regular basis and I absolutely love the game so thank you for that however… There are times like just now when I knew I could finish the puzzle by only spending 900 coins and each time that I made a play with one of my butterflies you guys chose The algorithms to keep getting more of the lightning bolt stuff in the current event NOT The piece of wood that I was shooting for each time to bring down the hotel key that was left so I refuse to spend 1200 more freaking coins to watch my butterflies do everything but what I need them to do and that is on you! That is on you and you should be ashamed of yourselves for taking people like this. Also because I am a seasoned player and I am very good at this and I know how I want to play my game to get it done do not I repeat do not insult my intelligence like this!!!!!!!! SO SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!! I close the game immediately I may or may not be back because this has happened several times and you need to fix this it’s it was an obvious thing to remove so again shame on you! ### 1/5 — Too little too late *2021-10-01, version 1.19* I normally love this game, and while repeatedly waiting a week for new levels each week is frustrating - it’s usually worth it and I get to play at least ten or so new levels/games before having to wait another week for another update. However, the most recent update was incredibly disappointing. The game description says they added 50 new levels but that’s simply not true - after playing just FIVE games I was told that I had played every new level and had to wait another week for another update. I was literally only able to earn five stars and just make two minor furniture updates to the opera singers suite. This is particularly disappointing considering how long we’ve had to wait for updates while fixing this specific room - it seems like I’ve been stuck on the opera singers room for months while updates slowly roll out just a few at at a time each week. I’m willing to keep playing and be patient if the weekly updates are at least substantial - but this weekly update was an all time low. Five new levels?! That’s it?? And why on earth are you claiming to have added fifty - that’s categorically false. I don’t do Facebook, and you don’t do well at responding to the constructive criticisms people provide. If you’re going to make the levels this absurdly difficult you need to add at least small rewards along the way for the sheer amount of time it takes to beat levels. There should be a small coin reward when you fail a level, I think it should be based on the number and type of “special symbols” you use in a level, but giving a few coins for trying would make coming back to these nearly impossible levels a little more interesting. Also, the board layout is too close to the edge (at least on iphone 11) so when you make matches at the edge you get taken out of the game completely—this happens a lot. Like I said, it’s a good game, and I’ve made purchases in it to support the work you’re doing, but you’ll find if you don’t listen to your customers your support will evaporate quickly. People are clamouring on Facebook asking about updates but they are all ignored. Don’t make any in game purchases, they are a waste. Sure they release new levels every week but very few levels. Also there are no more new events. So if you like Jack the Merchant… too bad because he will start coming around with the same old crap you’ve already got. If you like the events where you earn coins to unlock outfits or new furniture… too bad because those will be replaced by a boring version that runs on repeat. No more holiday themed rewards or activities. If I wanted to endlessly match 3, I could download any number of boring games. UPDATE: Dear developers, thanks for updating the graphics and adding more commercials. If your app needs funding to expand, I’d be happy to support it monetarily. However I will not do so until you respond to the fans about adding more chapters so we can get more story and decorate more rooms. Most of their new stuff disappeared anyway because it didn’t work. There are teams, but no team based competitions so it’s literally only for lives, no other point. Nobody cares about Match Champions because it’s just the same levels over and over, you only get prizes if you’re top three, and then what? Wait a week for new levels, get 5-10 and no stars to progress the story, and then right back to Match Champions for a week. I like the story! I like the design options! Just focus on making new levels already. I’ve really enjoyed it. The story was something that actually flowed from event to event. Not just “here’s the newest thing to happen, enjoy. Stuff that happens wont be relevant ever.” There was stuff building off of each other. But you’ve apparently ended it??? A “thank you for playing” ??? I didn’t finish the green house. All of grandfathers notes hadn’t been found. Pottery has not been found. Other half of key not found. There’s all sorts of shadow places that are being hinted at for further chapters. You bring back Oliver and that’s it?????? Honestly what??? NOTING ELSE GOT SOLVED??? WHAT IS HAPPENING. I’m genuinely unsatisfied and frustrated and, if I’m honest, surprisingly upset about this mobile game story line being left like that. And I think that says something about what you had(?) I hope this is a misunderstanding on my part, and if that’s the case, I’d be so happy to change the review, ecstatic even. But at the moment, two stars: looks great and I enjoy the gameplay. For the time being, please stay tuned as they may be added to our upcoming updates! ### 2/5 — Don’t waste your time *2021-12-27, version 1.22.1* I really enjoyed this game up until level 350 when I realized there is no more point in playing when the levels get extremely difficult and you still only get one star for completing the level (and to fix some things require 3 stars, so that can take days). I love the concept of the game. I’m Italian so I thought it would be fun game to fix the villa. I didn’t know it would be a copy of candy crush. A positive though is they offer infinite lives often, but they usually add up quickly so you need to be able to sit down and play the game for 1+ hours to benefit from this (and still even then maybe you will only gain 2 stars on difficult levels). It would be more beneficial if more stars could be gained as the difficulty of the challenges increases, especially as like to fix the stairs costs 3 stars, which is insane. Giuseppe, who at first irritated me, started to make me smile. The different olives and veggies, and wine bottles so typical of Italian culture are endearing. It’s when a “hard” level, that you’ve used every booster they make - still doesn’t allow you to pass, you realize it’s the same as every other match 3. When the devs get greedy and want you to spend - just make it so hard you can’t progress until you pay them, and those levels get fairly frequent. I’m deleting this app. There is no reason anyone should frustrate themselves for more than a day trying to pass a level, even when using the “boosters” suggested and then some. Ciao. ### 2/5 — Great graphics, great story little rewards *2020-08-12, version 1.5* This game is fun and cute but slow and not very rewarding. Downloads between scenes are too slow and as you progress the games get more challenging and you get maximum 90 coins when the only way to win is to use special limited icons or pay 900 coins for 5 extra chances. After awhile I just give up and delete the game. I don’t mind buying extra coins or lives or special items but I can get so much more from other games. There is no need to be a money pit game. Make the extra purchase just worth more. Or give more rewards when you do win. Have more specials. Really if other similar games can do that, why not you? You would keep player’s interest longer and attract more players if your game was more balanced in favor of the player. The one thing I would like to have change is to not have to deal with character dialogue and ads when I earn some free timed play. These eat up the time earned, so the play reward is shorter. I like the fact that you can earn extra plays and lives by watching ads. This game is very generous with rewards and the levels are not impossible to win. It always has events and things to play or help you out with when you eventually get stuck. The update was amazing too, except for one small thing. The items on the board (that you match 3 with) have lost their original defined edges and are harder to see (the little yellow cheese is especially easy to miss). Having said that, I'll take note of your comments in mind for future updates. ### 5/5 — So Much Fun *2022-04-09, version 1.25* This game is so much fun to play. I love the story line and the game is challenging but not to the point where you get frustrated or upset. I find the game relaxing to play. I’ve played some games where it was impossible to win a level and I was stuck on one level for days. I would get so frustrated I would remove the game from my iPad. It’s not like that with this game and I’ve been playing it for months. I get stuck on occasion but eventually get pass it. There are all kinds of prizes when you reach certain levels or accomplish tasks. I’m having a ball redecorating the hotel and the game is so entertaining. This is my all time favorite game. ### 5/5 — Best Match-3 Game I’ve Tried *2022-02-18, version 1.23* I’ve made it all the way to level 900+ and I have to say I love the festivals and things that give you bonuses without having to spend loads of money. I think the developers created a good balance between tough puzzles and opportunities for free bonuses that keeps the game fun instead of frustrating. One thing I don’t love is just how long some of the rooms take to finish and the base decor options. I wish that instead of themed decor, you could get new regular decor from Jack the Merchant. Overall, however, I have to say I’m impressed this game has kept my attention for so long! ### 5/5 — Best game of this kind *2022-02-01, version 1.23* I normally don’t write reviews but I had to for this one. It is the best candy crush style game I’ve ever played, and I’ve tried a lot. The levels aren’t too hard yet they are challenging. The game won’t let you be stuck on any one level for too long before giving you the option to watch and ad for some extra moves. They are always having events going on that reward you with unlimited lives for certain amounts of time. And the best part of the whole thing NO ADS unless you decide you are gonna watch it for extra lives. I know I probably sound like a bot at this point but I’m truly very pleased with this game. ### 5/5 — Great game *2021-12-31, version 1.22.1* I love the game. You get so many options of decor. All the levels a fun and easy to pass. So I really recommend this game. But there is some things that need to be improved. First some levels get like 20 lives and you need to get like 50 of each thing and those levels are hard to pass. Secondly there are so many ads in witch I HATE. And third of all when you get like 30 min of infinite lives there are ads and the 30 min keeps going so I think all of those things need to be fixed. But overall it is a great game ### 5/5 — The perfect casual game! *2021-12-13, version 1.21* Finally! A game with no timers. No ads flashing and interrupting and taking up screen space. A game where I can get interrupted mid-level with zero consequences. With satisfying and pretty decoration options. Generous with boosters and lives. I’ve spent so many hours enjoying this game, that when an opportunity arises to spend a few dollars on holiday decorations and suchlike, I feel like it’s money well-spent instead of the adversarial relationship I’ve felt with other games where I’d chew off my own foot before giving them money. Very well done! ### 5/5 — Best game in this genre. *2021-12-12, version 1.21* I’ve been around the block when it comes to these types of games. This is the best one. The dialogue reads natural, the characters look like they could be in a Pixar short (best complement I can give) which is rare to find in these games weirdly enough, and the option to dress up characters in different outfits is a nice touch. Puzzle variety isn’t bad either. Matching pipes for the hotel is surprisingly satisfying. Match 3 levels are challenging as they’re supposed to be. But it’s like Candy Crush, for some reason, no matter how annoyed a level makes you, it’s guaranteed you’ll come back for more. The developers of Homescapes, Gardenscapes, and Wildscapes could learn a thing or two from this! ### 5/5 — From animeLove1384 *2021-12-05, version 1.21* I love the way the game is I don’t like game like this I don’t like solve puzzles. I really like this game I did not like the tutorial because there are so many games like this but I understand that if I was someone who is completely new the tutorial would be great and I love all the opportunities to make it big instead of like losing a life all at once in 10 round at first I play this game I deleted it because of the the solve puzzle I see them all the time and I thought it would be like the other but it was different.
