When I first realized I needed a tutor, I reached out to my professor to find a peer tutor, who redirected me to the head of the department, who sent me an outdated list of tutors for the subject, many of which were no longer tutors. Finally, I found a tutor willing to help. They were incredibly nice and smart; however, they couldn’t help me much with my class, as they weren’t familiar with the class format, my professors way of teaching, the test format, etc. I felt desperate. Luckily, just in time for finals, I downloaded TutorTies. I was able to swipe through a collection of tutors, who not only had taken and aced the exact course at my University that I needed help with, but some of which also had the SAME professor as me. Within 20 minutes, I matched with a tutor and set up a session. The session was so helpful- my tutor understood the class I needed help with, what I needed to do to succeed, what I should focus on (in terms of their experience with the exact course), etc. Just like that, I booked recurring sessions twice a week and aced my final. The best part was, after my first 10 sessions, TutorTies paid for $10 of my next session. Now, the more I use it, the more money I save. Great platform. TutorTies matches me with excellent tutors that save my grade, and my future. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to raise their GPA and knowledge level in general.
