## What is tuulik?

tuulik is the fastest way to get a thought out of your head and into the right place. If you keep losing ideas somewhere between the thought and the notetaking app, tuulik is for you.

Hold the pinwheel, flick toward a category, say or type the note. That is the whole thing.

What tuulik does not have: accounts, sharing, folders, tags, formatting, attachments, ads, analytics or subscriptions. It is free, and it is meant to stay small.

- Minor UI improvements

### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-06

- Add & continue: swipe up from Add to save a note and keep going in the same category.
- The tooltip after adding now offers an option to go to that list.
- Add a category straight from Notes or the Journal with the "+" after the tabs.
- Various bug fixes and improvements

### 1.1 — 2026-09-25

Journals: a second kind of category for dated entries you keep to look back on. Journals fan out below the pinwheel and can be locked with Face ID.

Reminders: tap the bell while adding a note, pick a time, and tuulik sends you a notification then.

A short tour: the "?" on the first screen shows how tuulik works.

Turkish language support, including on-device dictation.

Dictation now starts from the mic button; turn "Dictation on by default" on in Settings if you prefer the old way.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-23

We fixed some bugs and crashes and improved the user experience.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-21
