## What is Tuwa?

Your plan is yours. Tuwa decides how hard to run it today.

Bring your program once — paste it, or import a PDF or photos — and Tuwa runs it day by day. Each morning it reads HRV, resting heart rate, sleep and your accumulated training load, and gives one plain answer for today: go as written, trim the top set, or hold back. A number and a reason, not a mood ring.

Built for self-coached athletes — the people who play their sport, lift, and condition in parallel, and make every call themselves.

TODAY'S VERDICT
- Go, adjust, or ease off — with the adjusted number and a one-line reason
- Concrete changes: a capped top set, a back-off set cut. Never a rewritten plan
- Game-aware: set a match date and the sessions near it tighten to a short, sharp microdose
- Last night's game loads your legs and spares your bench — Tuwa tracks them apart
- Keeping your plan as written is always one tap, and never the smaller button

YOUR SESSION, IN YOUR ORDER
- See today's whole session before you start, with today's numbers beside your plan
- Hold any move and drag it to a new place — before you start or halfway through
- A guided plate walks you set by set; the lock screen shows where you are
- Scrub to the weight on your own load step, or type it exactly; scrub a time for holds and carries
- Finish with one sheet and an effort rating
- Or describe a workout in words, and Tuwa turns it into sets you check before saving

READINESS FROM REAL SIGNALS
- Recovery score from HRV, resting heart rate and sleep, read from Apple Health
- Scored against your own rolling baseline, not a population average
- Your own answer on how you feel is blended in — the score never overrides you
- Open HRV and sleep for the baseline, the target line, and night-by-night detail

ONE FATIGUE BUDGET
- Court time, barbell work and conditioning on a single load curve
- Acute and chronic load side by side
- Trends that show fatigue building, holding, or clearing

SERIOUS LOGGING
- Sets, weight, reps and RPE in seconds
- A 1,328-movement exercise bank with instant search
- Templates, carried-forward targets, and automatic personal records
- Every set backs up to your account

PRIVACY
- Raw health data never leaves your device
- Only composite scores sync, and only for backup
- Text you ask Tuwa to parse is sent to its AI processor only after you allow it — never your health data

Tuwa Pro unlocks full history, overload suggestions, custom exercises, and PR tracking. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple account and can be cancelled at any time.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.7.4 — 2026-09-28

Tuwa 1.7.4 — your session, in your order

• See today's whole session first. Start today opens on every move of the day, with today's numbers beside your plan.
• Reorder by hand. Hold a move and drag it to a new place — before you start, or mid-session from the up-next bar. A superset moves as one. Your program stays as written.
• One clear call for today. Today, the pre-session brief, the widget and your in-session suggestions all come from the same readiness decision, with the reason in plain words.
• Your sets are backed up. Every exercise and every set now syncs with your account, so a new phone restores your full training history.
• Faster logging. Scrub to the weight on the load step you set for each movement, or type it exactly. Holds and carries get a time scrub instead of a timer. Finish is one sheet: your summary and an effort rating from 1 to 10.
• Per-side and carry logging. "3 × 30 s each side" runs as left and right rounds; loaded carries log weight with time or distance.
• Missed a session? When today is free, it becomes today's session; when today has its own, the missed one is skipped. One tap changes either.
• Done today: after you train, Today shows what you logged and when your next session is.
• Your plan in Profile: see whether you are on Pro or Free, and manage your subscription.
• A clearer lock screen: the current move, the set, what comes next and your rest clock.
• Describe a workout in words to log it. In-app voice logging is retired; your keyboard's dictation still works.
• Privacy: raw health readings now stay on your iPhone — only scores sync. Before any text is sent for parsing, Tuwa asks you once and names the processor. Signing out removes the account's data from the device.
• Fixes across the paywall, the language switch, sync status and more.

### 1.7.3 — 2026-09-25

Tuwa 1.7.3 turns your program into your daily guide.

Bring your training program once — text, PDF, photo, or just say it — and Tuwa runs it day by day. Each morning it proposes today's session with the volumes already adjusted to your recovery, and a quick check-in tunes the numbers before you start. One tap on Start today shows what your body looks like, what the app therefore suggests, and your adjusted numbers — for court, run, and conditioning days that means a duration and an effort ceiling on your own plan, never a new one.

New guided session mode: when you start a planned workout, the app becomes a focused space showing the current move and its target numbers. Log a set in one tap, and Tuwa advances to the next move with what's coming up always in view — supersets alternate automatically. Your session lives on the lock screen too, so a glance shows where you are without unlocking.

Also new: Apple Watch workouts arrive on their own, with your effort rating carried over; Trends now reads as a fatigue story, with plain-language readings and a breakdown page for every index; home-screen widgets for today's readiness and training load; a four-tab layout; pull to refresh; and the app opens instantly — your data syncs in the background instead of making you wait.

### 1.7.2 — 2026-08-24

Tuwa 1.7.2 makes describing the session the fastest way to log it.

Say what you did — "back squat, three sets of five at 130" — or type the same sentence, or use the keyboard's dictation mic. Tuwa turns it into an editable draft with every set filled in and ticked off. Nothing saves until you confirm it, and any number is still yours to correct by hand. Mid-session, the same thing works one set at a time. Manual entry is unchanged and still the way to fix anything. Voice logging is free on every tier.

Also in this release: the weight scale now shows its full range before you touch it, with your last set and today's target marked on the rule. Deleted workouts stay deleted across devices, profile settings sync completely, and charts label their values correctly in every language.

### 1.7.1 — 2026-08-12

Tuwa 1.7.1 rebuilds workout logging around speed: type, tap, or swipe any value, accept last session's numbers in one tap, and log bodyweight moves like pull-ups as BW with added weight shown as +kg. Sleep charts now read every night straight from Apple Health with a new per-night breakdown — stages, bedtime, efficiency. HRV is labeled as your morning reading, with a note on why it differs from Health's all-day figure. Plus steadier sync and fixes throughout.

### 1.7 — 2026-08-03

Tuwa 1.7 brings the field-notes design: a scientist's terse annotations engraved on every card, and a distinct color for each metric so you can read a screen at a glance. Tap into HRV and sleep for new detail views — your personal baseline, the 7.5-hour sleep target, day-by-day scrubbing, and plain-language explanations of what each signal means. Sleep scoring now uses the 7.5-hour target with a smoother curve. Plus larger labels, cleaner charts, and fixes throughout.
