A queue you can reorder, a position bar you can drag, shuffle and repeat, and the lock screen controls it. Leave the Music screen and the album keeps playing. If your set has no music player of its own, your phone plays the track and sends the sound instead. The television's volume, from your phone Volume and mute on the music and video screens, wherever the route can carry them. Turn it up with the television's own remote and the slider here follows. Where a set's level is fixed — wired through an amplifier, say — the app says so rather than showing a slider that moves nothing. Televisions find themselves Sets now appear on their own. Typing an IP address is still there for networks that hide devices from each other, but it is the way round a problem now, not the way in. Android TV and Sony A television that shows a four-digit code pairs with it, and the remote works from there — buttons, keyboard, and the apps it will open. Web video When a site will not let your television fetch a video, your phone can carry the whole stream instead — and you can switch between the two by hand rather than accept the app's choice. Pages you keep are saved as films, so they open where you left off. The details screen still tells you what will happen before anything is sent. Test Cast — free, and now including music Checks each route to your television separately and gives you a report you can attach to a message. No purchase needed, as before. Fixes Music and a film no longer fight over the television: starting one stops the other cleanly instead of the set flickering between them. An album that has finished now hands the television back instead of leaving its own screen up.
