A recent Roku update caused an issue with mobile app control, but it’s easy to fix. Follow these steps: 1. Go to Settings on your Roku TV. 2. Select System > Advanced System Settings. 3. Choose Control by mobile apps. 4. Enable Network Access. I didn't mind the few ads that popped up but now w it's gotten to the point where I'm constantly asked to upgrade to premium and I can scroll over once to get to what I want to watch and an ad pops up. It's constant. It's very much annoying and there's no way I'm paying for premium for a remote. I don't understand why anyone would when an actual Roku remote is $10. So stupid.
