This app functions as a remote control for your TV and streaming devices. It allows you to navigate channels, control playback, cast media from your phone to your TV, and search for content using your phone's keyboard or voice commands. It aims to simplify your entertainment experience by consolidating control into one app.
Key features include universal control for various TVs and streaming players, touchpad or button navigation, screen mirroring capabilities, direct access to popular streaming channels, wireless control via WiFi or IR, and both voice and keyboard search functionality. You can also cast photos and videos from your phone to your TV.
The app is offered as a free download and includes free TV viewing over WiFi or IR. However, it does contain in-app purchases and advertisements, suggesting that some advanced features or an ad-free experience may require payment.
To connect, ensure your smart TV and your iPhone are on the same Wi-Fi network. Within the app, scan for your TV. You will then need to accept a connection pop-up that appears on your TV, often using your physical TV remote for the initial confirmation.
The app provides access to popular streaming channels like Netflix, YouTube, Prime, Hulu, Spectrum, and Disney. You can also cast media files, including videos and photos, directly from your phone's gallery to your TV.
