And why do I get attacked with ads even during the fee trial, oh I mean free trial. The Roku app and remote just happens to be down (first time I’ve ever encountered that) and I can’t find new batteries for my actual Roku remote…I thought this would/could be a simple fix for rn, but naaaah! It connects to tv, but absolutely ZERO functions work on the remote (such as changing the channel, volume control, turning off/on). It physically shows the buttons being pressed but it’s just for show. Asked for a refund, but denied. It wouldn’t work for my work tv or on my home Roku stick. I sent them 3 emails. First one was 4 months ago that I still haven’t gotten a response back. The second one I sent out got a response asking me what the problem was. But it took 2 months for them to respond. I replied and it’s been a month and still nothing. Then this morning I get an email saying that this is the first email they have received. My suggestion is if you have an account with Roku.
